We’re partially there already. I have a cat that will eat pancakes - if they are soaked in butter... and a dog that will eat the cat’s poop.
Our pets are green and we didn’t even realize it.
This is animal cruelty and abuse. If you can’t properly feed a pet carnivore then don’t own one.

I have a cat that lives by my front door and I feed it twice a day and she has a bed, which has an electric heater during the winter, her job is to keep the creepy crawlers from entering the house and to keep away snakes.
While I’ve always known of course that cats hunt and love to kill, play with their kills, etc, I wasn’t aware of the great degree of how the world is a giant snack bar for outdoor cats, they don’t just kill birds and mice etc for fun or food, every little thing that they spot, including bugs and lizards, are like a little bag of chips to them when they want it.
My cat eats her store-bought food, snacks all day at her leisure on the little creatures, chews on grass, and having been a stray she licks moisture off of plants
