Last week, the United Auto Workers union launched strikes against the Big Three American auto companies, General Motors (GM), Ford, and Stellantis, after they failed to reach an agreement on increasing wages and providing other benefits.
According to Breitbart, one of the leading causes for the strike is the impact that President Biden's electric vehicle mandate is having on the industry. As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, American car companies are trying to keep up with Biden's EV push but it has led to companies like Ford being forced to lay off workers as billions of dollars in losses develop due to its investment in EVs.
Given these harrowing circumstances, leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump is considering joining picketers in Michigan to show his support for their cause.
According to Detroit News, the Trump campaign is weighing whether or not to make the visit in the coming days. If they do, Trump will likely visit Ford's assembly plant in Wayne, Michigan. The other two plants impacted by the strike are GM's factory in Wentzville, Missouri, and Stellantis' plant in Toledo, Ohio.
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump has been very vocal about his support of the union workers who have been sabotaged by Biden's policies and the auto company's refusal to alleviate their workers' suffering.
"The United Autoworkers are being sold down the 'drain' with this all Electric Car SCAM," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social on Sunday. "They’ll be made in China, under Crooked Joe’s CHINA FIRST POLICY. AUTOWORKERS, VOTE FOR TRUMP - I’LL MAKE YOU VICTORIOUS & RICH."
"IF YOUR 'LEADERS' WON’T ENDORSE ME, VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE, NOW," he continued. "WITH THE DEMOCRATS & CROOKED JOE CALLING THE SHOTS, YOU’LL BE JOBLESS & PENNILESS WITHIN 4 YEARS. REMEMBER, BIDEN IS A CROOK WHO HAS BEEN PAID MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BY CHINA, & OTHERS. He is a Manchurian Candidate!!!"
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, this isn't the first time that Trump has stood up for the UAW workers.On 1/7/21 Trump should have formed the MAGA Workers Party. The dems have been screwing labor rank and file since the get go.

I have more respect for a worker, union or not, building something on a production line than I will *ever* have for someone in a suit, at a lobbying firm. I admire that Shop Steward more than some wanker asking me for money for this cause or that while the CEO of the lobbying firm or ‘charity’ wears $2000 suits and flies around in a chartered jet (I’m lookin’ at you NRA).
Sure bigger unions are corrupt. *any* large organization has corruption- governments (doh), corporations, charities, and unions.

The Union Bosses always demand their members vote Democrat.
Now the Democrats have brought you high inflation so you need more pay to make up for it.
If the Unions go on strike, the Democrats have also flooded the US with illegal aliens ready to take the place of the striking workers.
No matter how this turns out, in the next election I expect the Unions to demand their members vote ...DEMOCRAT.
Great on the merits; but the Democrats can always out-promise those workers from the left. Something like: “Keep voting for us, and we’ll pay you for life even as your places of employment are being dismantled.”
I worked for a company that had some locations with union workers and many without. The company went to great lengths to assure non-union employees had greater benefits and wages than union employees.
Smart move by Trump politically...but the union leaders are going to make the biggest return on this.
Spot on... the Chinese have their cake, are eating it, and are also eating everybody else's cake, too.
Normally I despise unions and what they've become, but this is exactly the kind of thing they were originally created for... with the caveat that it's not so much about the auto makers themselves that are the problem, but (obviously) a lot more about the climate created by this administration. Trump is definitely on to something here and this will win him a lot of support.

The current GOP membership is only about 30 million. Trump got over 80 million ACTUAL votes (with a significant amount stolen and transferred to Biden)
Trump would draw a majority of those into a MAGA party, many independents, and even some democrats who see that their party has gone insane.
The MAGA party would not be a third party spoiler, it would be the biggest party.
Overnight we could sweep the whole government out, by not allowing any current office holders to run in the MAGA party.
