If it were Ukraine, I think Elon would have said so. He was vague there for a reason though.
Elon Musk did not commit suicide
“I doubt anyone is being critical about Ukraine wanting the assistance. They’re critical of the US government asking for it of a US citizen.”
You’re another one who didn’t read the article. It said “the US OR UKRAINIAN government,” as even the author doesn’t know.
But you, along with so many others on this thread, are quick to assume — without evidence — that it was the US. That is so typical of you guys: You assume facts not in evidence, jump to conclusions, and rush to judgment; all actions of someone who has no cogent argument to make.
#41.
I didn’t think Musk was a US citizen.
Nothing has changed with you. A dog sniffing another dog's azz gets more factual information than you have dispensed since the start of this mess 18 months ago. Now go the the Day Room. Pudding cups are waiting before bed.
“if Ukraine had half the IQ of Mexico, it would have refrained from antagonizing its super power neighbor.”
You’re a wuss. In your peculiar little world any country that is not a superpower must grovel before those that are, hat in hand, like some international Dalit, forbidden to have even its shadow dare to fall upon a “superior.”
Naturalized.
“Sinking the Russian fleet at anchor isn’t ‘logic’ it’s comic book madness.”
Shows how little you know about warfare.
It isn’t our war.
What the hell is wrong with you?
It sure as hell isn’t Elon Musk’s war.
You are supporting a war of cartels.
Thanks 👍
Wrong, Ukraine ask musk to turn on starlink sats to help because they said their internet was gone, so starlink did, found out later the ukies lied about the use.
You know jack squat about the Hatch Act: It applies to FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, not private citizens.
Musk is a private citizen with global corporate interests. By your twisted logic any private citizen who makes any contribution to Ukraine for aid or assistance is in violation of the Hatch Act. Any private citizen who goes to Ukraine to support its efforts is in violation of the Hatch Act; any private citizen who writes about supporting Ukraine is in violation of the Hatch Act.
Learn what you are talking about before you make a fool of yourself.
“If it were Ukraine, I think Elon would have said so. He was vague there for a reason though.”
You are assuming.
“I didn’t think Musk was a US citizen.”
He became one several years ago. But he is a private citizen; the Hatch Act does not apply to private citizens. The Hatch Act applies to federal employees and some contractors for the federal government (depending on the nature of the contract).
[the Hatch Act does not apply to private citizens. The Hatch Act applies to federal employees and some contractors for the federal government (depending on the nature of the contract).]
That’s what I thought. Thanks for clarifying.
So you prefer Ukraine destroyed and made UNLIVABLE over desire to join NATO?
Looking at innocent civilians in killed and infra-structure destroyed in Ukraine, the Mexican way of looking at things makes much more sense.
You are the wuss for encouraging Ukraine to destroy itself.
No I’m not “assuming.” I didn’t declare it but stated it as an intuition. If you were betting money on which nation the ‘government officials’ who approached Elon were employed by, who would you put your money on... I’m putting my money on the Yanks and if you were honest you would too.
You sound angry; perhaps you should take a breather.
You see, kid; I deal with facts. The FACT is that the article itself was inconclusive on the point in question, and admitted it. But, you are so biased, so anti-United States that your natural default mode is to condemn and blame the United States of any and all nefarious deeds, real or imagined.
Learn at least the rudimentary basics of reading comprehension before you embarrass yourself any further.
Here's a fact for you. Call the bedside nurse for a cleaning.
