This is precisely why we must eliminate “voting machines” all across this country. No election will ever be free, open or honest as long as they exist.

Even the “old” metal machines with the metal pull down and drape for privacy could be manipulated when wetting them up.

A microwave jammer at each of the 100,000 or so polling places would neutralize this threat. And they would only been needed at a fraction of that total - just the large population areas in blue-controlled cities. It might cost $100 million but if it eliminated election rigging, wouldn’t it be worth it?
Send poll watchers in to make sure there are no hardwired connections as well. Pull the plug and jam the airwaves!

But a WiFi network is different than a cellular network.

Ok, but the screenshot in the story shows ‘LetTheDogOut!’ is a single WiFi router, it’s not a cellular network. It’s visible on a cell phone with Wi-Fi turned on (or visible on an iPad or laptop or PC).
I can see about 6 different Wi-Fi routers on my laptop (my neighbor’s routers). Doesn’t mean that their routers are serving my laptop (they are secured with a password, as is my router, as is the LetTheDogOut router).
And a Wi-Fi router wouldn’t be able to serve multiple voting locations across an entire county no more than my Wi-Fi can serve the entire county where I live.
