Team DeSantis is looking like 'Team DeSaster'
Laura Loomer exposed Ron DeSantis for not having enough donors to qualify for the first RNC debate in August. FEC records show DeSantis is raising a lot of money from a small pool of globalist elite donors. DeSantis’ fundraising stats are just another item proving that the Florida Governor has very little support from actual GOP voters.
Loomer tweeted, “The RNC said in order to debate in their first debate on August 23, candidates running for President are required to have a minimum of 40,000 donors.”
“However, I was looking at the FEC reports that just came out and @RonDeSantis only has 16,841 filtered results that show up on his report for individual donations.”
“It doesn’t look like he’s going to qualify to debate…”
“I don’t see anyone else talking about this.”
Is the @GOPChairwoman going to overlook the fact that DeSantis didn’t meet the requirements?”
“Ron DeSantis shouldn’t be allowed to debate on August 23, according to these FEC documents that only show 16,841 individual campaign donations.”
Fox News is hosting the first RNC debate on August 23rd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Milwaukee is also hosting the RNC Convention in 2024.
Ever since Tucker’s departure from Fox, the network has become compared to a pro-DeSantis media Super PAC. If 45th President Trump had failed to secure the donation requirements, Fox News would likely be screaming on all their shows that Trump should not be allowed to debate.
Unsurprisingly, the network has remained silent on DeSantis’ failure to obtain the required number of donors.
DeSantis has raised millions despite the fact that he only has 16,000 donors, indicating that the Florida Governor is raking in millions of dollars from globalist elites and showing the disturbing fact that America’s elite are attempting to crush the will of the American people.
National File has reported in great detail on globalist influence on Ron DeSantis’ campaign.

The claim that NBC must have 2 US citizen parents remains unproven.

that’s a ridiculous requirement. has it always been so

The # of donors qualification is there to ensure that the candidate has enough support from the base voter to be viable.
I know the reasoning. I disagree with it. Some candidates might be self-funding (e.g. Ross Perot), others may have just announced. Worse, a big donor can incentivize his underlings to make small donations to artificially create a false appearance.
Plenty of candidates who "qualify" were/are not viable. Asa Hutchinson is not viable. Carly Fiorina wasn't viable. Who would have guessed that some guy named Vivek Ramaswamy elbowed his way into the second tier? It is so early, too early to prune people out if you are going to have these things at all.

For all you Ron fans: Ron was one of the 40 that left the House in 2018 under Ryan’s direction that gave the House to Nancy and the 🐀s. Of course his excuse was he was running for Senate or then for Governor.
To: Macoozie
Are you saying DeSantis is not a natural born citizen?
To: Engraved-on-His-hands
I get enough hate for DeSantis from all of the other left-wing-infested media. I get tired of seeing it here, too. I’m a never-Biden and never-Democrat.

I wonder why Laura Looney hates Ron Desantis and his wife? Perhaps envy? She can’t win an election, and he can.
It’s not something recent. In the past Laura attacked Casey Desantis cancer treatment as “over exaggerated” in an effort to win votes. And she even attacked Mrs. Desantis for using her middle name Casey instead of her first name Jill.
With enemies like Laura Looney, Ron Desantis must be good!

Loomer is all in for Trump so we should remain skeptical. Don’t see how Christie qualifies and DeSantis doesn’t

This subject of natural born citizenship comes up a lot on Free Republic.
Some Freepers say, that both of your parents must have been US citizens, at the time of your birth, for you to be a natural born citizen.
Other Freepers say, that being born in America makes you natural born, regardless of the citizenship status of your parents. Those Freepers say that since such children didn’t have to be naturalized to become American citizens, that this makes them natural born citizens.
This debate will surely continue.
To: SoConPubbie
They surely passed this rule to eliminate the “clown car” atmosphere of previous debates, and to reduce the possibility of a bunch of hopefuls diluting their preferred candidate’s support. Too bad they forgot to pick a candidate that can meet the qualifications.
To: Dilbert San Diego
Yeah, they have to get at least 3% or something like that I think. It’s not too high of a bar for the polling.
To: No name given
He can participate all he wants. The real question is: will anyone bother to watch if Trump doesn’t show up?
To: SoConPubbie
“It doesn’t look like he’s going to qualify to debate…”
He will. Then what?

Crispy Kreme Christie closing in on DeSantis means that the DeSantis campaign is dead - stick a fork in it.
If the DeSantis campaign was a bird, it would be a Norwegian Blue parrot.

“Some Freepers say.... Other Freepers say....”
The problem is the Constitution does not explicitly say. And that leaves it up to the courts, who, so far, have not agreed with the stricter requirements that some people favor. Don’t seem likely to anytime in the near future either.
To: Boogieman
no we won’t... no trump... no one will show.
this fake debate marks the final divorce settlement proceedings initiation of the GOPe party from the Conservative “tea party” types of pro america grass roots.
its way past time to castrate the pigs. metaphoricallly of course.

Did my post make me seem charged up? Just sounded funny is all. Everyone knows the rules are baloney. Not only will most of the actors in the Primary not support Trump if he’s the nominee, they’ll actively work to make sure Biden or some other nut wins the election. The rules are for Trump really and no one else.
