I remember mid-2022 when Sundance figured out that DeSantis had sold himself to the UniParty and was going to run against Trump.
A lot of big accounts on Twitter said Sundance was crazy, DeSantis was the best Governor in the country, he would never do anything so politically stupid...
And, Son of a Bitch, Sundance was right.
What DeSantis needs is an independent columnist like Sundance who is smart and a talented advocate for his candidate.
Better yet, he needs a nationally recognized Republican personality — like Trump’s Roger Stone who was a protege of Richard Nixon back in a day.
DeSantis doesn’t seem to have such advocates. Or at least, no FReeper who likes DeSantis has pointed us to someone like that.
And what about the infamous Trumpers: Bill Kristol, George Will, Thomas Sowell, Rick Lowry, and Karl Rove. I don’t hear their voices explaining why DeSantis is great.
Even Paul Ryan and Crispy Creme Cristie are attacking Trump as you’d expect but are not praising DeSantis to my knowledge.
