I think that Barrs whole reason for being. attorney general was to destroy evidence in the Epstein case that would lead back to wealthy donners in both political parties. I think during impeachment a deal was struck to make Bar attorney general... the deal was to not impeach trump in the Senat and Trump would appoint Barr as attorney general. this was a situation where the powers behind the politicians had to get someone in immediately and they had to sacrifice the idea of getting rid of trump through impeachment.
