As Vlad has planned for conflict with NATO and the West for a few years, it will be interesting who wins that one without nukes. Vlad seems to still hold all the cards.

There are no good guys in this stupid incident. This is all to kill off more men, white men in particular, and weaken europe more, and exhaust european and american conventional military stockpiles.
I’ve been saying for over a year that WWIII will begin when the Russians can no longer bear NATO weaponry massively killing Russians without a response of Russian weaponry killing NATO personnel in NATOland, most likely Poland.
Seems reasonable - if Poland decides to use their runways for attacks on Russia, then they’re at war with Russia, and will have to deal with what that entails.
We have a bunch of neocon idiots running our foreign policy. It will be up to the major EU countries to rein the US in. Ukraine isn’t going to win or even hold out that much longer without direct NATO involvement and I doubt Europe is up for that.
The US and NATO are going to get a thrashing.
The US and NATO have the lowest caliber of people ever in our history to deal with this. We’re in a heap of trouble and a Perfect Storm could be coming.

Putin never threatened to kill me with an F-16. But my president did.

The Poles might say “Hell with NATO” and they’ll send troops to Ukraine. The Baltics will join them.
The real risk here is clear. If they launch operations against Russia from a country other than Ukraine that country risks attack and broadening the war.
Solution is simple, keep the attacks from originating in Ukraine.
BTW: I guess this steps backs Putin’s other threats of weapons used against him supplied by the west risk broadening the war. So at least now it’s clear. F16 are good as long as they are launched from Ukraine.

I think that Putin realizes that the F-16s would put Russia at a serious disadvantage.

Russia hasn't been able to take out the airfields in the Ukraine since the start of the war. Their top special forces group that landed at Hostomel Airport got slaughtered.
So far, the vast majority of Kinzhals launched since the Patriot missile batteries arrived have been shot down.
Putin's recent speeches sound like Fetterman or Biden speaking in Russian. He seems uninformed and kept in the dark by yes-men afraid to tell him his military is failing.
At the moment Russia's army can't even keep its command centers and ammunition depos 50 kilometers from the front line in one piece.
Well, I guess that means they can send F-15 and F/A-18 and A-10’s, they have had at least 1200 of those stored in Arizona before the war started.
See Vlad, no F-16’s! Seriously, Vlad should have prepared to deal with large numbers of F-16’s last year. Everyone saw this coming if the war dragged on. F-16 will be lost, probably in generous numbers with ground attack. Yet, with several hundred operating, Russian trenches become napalm traps. Then it’s open ground mechanized with Ukraine air superiority and western tanks.
Once again, stupid war with stupid prizes. Perhaps Biden is to senile, and Vlad to stubborn, and Soros to evil, to figure out something better.
