You are correct. A pox on both sides. NATO recklessly provoked Russia by expanding eastward. And then Putin overreacted by invading a sovereign country. Resources are being drained, and innocents are dying every day.

In a way, we are seeing something like the First World War. Each side is bleeding the other side, for next to nothing. But wait. There is still an opportunity for someone to escalate things from WW I to WW III.

Oh, how I wish Trump were in the White House today. For all his bluster, Trump kept the peace.

I don't think there are any good guys here.

The best solution has always been to bring the sides together and negotiate a peace that both are willing to accept. They don't have to love it, but they have to be willing to accept it.
