Florida Man running.
Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez has announced he is running for president (really vice president). However, Suarez has also disqualified himself from being selected as a vice presidential candidate on the Republican ticket due to his past voting record as you can see. Oh, he did pick up one big endorsement which truly reveals the laughable nature of his candidacy.
PING!
What a waste of money or time. First, he is from Florida, which is same for Trump and DeSantis. They can’t lose Florida votes, so no way he can be picked for VP. And I’m not even going to bother looking at his experiences, qualifications, and baggage.
Maybe he sent 50 bucks to the Jeb! campaign in 2016
Did he get his Guac Bowl?
he cannot be VP as it’s either DT or RD as the nominee...VP cannot be from the same state.
Actually the VP can be from the same state as the President, but then that endangers the electors from the home state, so it’s not commonly done. I suppose if you are going to lose those electors anyway (like 2 Republicans from California running together), then it wouldn’t matter. But no Republican will risk losing Florida’s electors, or they can’t win.
Many Trump supporters admitted voting for 0bama, oftentimes twice, and for Her Heinous in 2016, but admitted what a mistake it was. What’s this guy’s excuse?
Suarez is a Crypto Mayor in more ways than one.
Exactly. So the Miami mayor is wasting his time and everyone’s money.
Technically, the President and VP can be from the same state — but that state’s electors cannot vote for both of them.
Let’s just say, for purposes of argument, that Suarez were to be picked for VP by Trump or DeSantis (though I don’t think either candidate would.) They’d better have enough electors elsewhere, as the Florida electors could either vote for the presidential nominee but not Suarez or for someone else for President but then vote for Suarez for VP.
is he there to take hispanic votes away from trunp?
Please clap
