There is no democracy without a free press. That’s been echoed by many people. Here’s one view:
The purpose of a free press is to ensure that the people are free to receive and impart information that is not manipulated or serving a particular person, entity or interest. Its duty, in fact, is often to investigate people of power, and especially the government, to ask the hard questions and to attempt to uncover what’s really happening, regardless of the political fallout.“not manipulated or serving a particular person.”
Today much of the press is manipulated in favor of a particular person- Joe Biden. Censorship by the left-wing media is very troublesome- it cost Donald Trump the 2020 election. Trump has been harassed and pursued by phony charges and accusations since 2015.If you pay attention to the media, you see that every accusation about Trump is true but every piece of evidence against Biden is false. Each time a credible piece of evidence against Biden appears, the DNC media ignores it.
On Friday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” journalist Matt Taibbi stated that he believes there has been a lack of coverage of allegations of influence-peddling against President Joe Biden because “it happens to be politically inconvenient” and stated that it almost seems like members of the media “just get a memo to not cover stuff.”The dog whistle gets blownTaibbi said, “I think a lot of journalists of an older generation feel the same way, which is, once upon a time, most reporters didn’t really care who was in office. If they were corrupt, if they did something wrong, we’d do the reporting. It didn’t really matter to us. The idea that you would non-report something like the Biden story because it happens to be politically inconvenient would have been inconceivable, I think, in the mainstream press, even a dozen years ago.”
He added, “It appears that sometimes they just get a memo to not cover stuff. That happened with me with the Twitter files reports. Sometimes, we’d put something out, and it seemed clearly newsworthy, but everybody would react to it the same way, they would respond to it in the same language on Twitter, and I have no idea how that happens. Freedom of the press has been non-existent for decades now. We have a press that is only critical of one party, and provides cover for the most corrupt party of the two parties. That party is the major corrupt party, while the Republican Party is the minor corrupt party, because it has earned its moniker of being the Stupid Party. They must follow, because they are incapable of leading, and we are being led into hell
Both parties are POS entities, but one party has an outsider that has seized control that causes problems for both POS parties.
That outsider, is the only reason I vote Republican now.
Time to retake our country which I always love & support, even when I fight against most of her leaders who are loathsome & corrupt, and do not care about her citizens whatsoever.
That outsider, along with the grace of the Lord will deliver out nation back to; We The People with the Lord welcomed back into the public square once again.

But the usual “journalism used to be good” drek is here. The old time journalists smeared anyone who challenged the Democrat empire, McCarthy, Nixon, Goldwater, Reagan..etc. It was just primarily in print or at the three major networks. But they still defended the bad guys. Now they are just more arrogant, shrill, and stupid.
