Read the article. The plan was to blow the GATES of the damn with HIMARS. Not to blow the whole thing wide open - A HIMARS couldnt do that. You read they tested to see if it could just do a gate.
If you force open a gate your not going to cause massive flooding like blowing the whole thing open.

It is a nice theory, except there are mechanisms in the flood doors, the hits took place, the video of the strikes was disseminated by the Ukrainians who dragged about it and even the Washington Times wrote about it.
I just watched a video of the dam that blew, as well as satellite photos.
Although I’ve heard this nowhere, it is obvious what happened.
The Russians had heavily mined the waters above the dam to stop the Ukrainians from crossing.
The water levels in the lake were the highest ever. For some reason the Russians were not opening the gates allowing the water levels to be stable.
They finally opened the gates and the high water level combined with the increased current when they finally opened the gates caused the mines from the lake to break loose and drift into the dam, exploding and destroying the dam.
In the video I watched after the dam had blown, there were a series on continuous underwater explosions at the dam as additional mines continued to drift into the dam and explode.
It was Russian stupidity that blew up the dam!

Yes! I believe Ukraine tested himars on a dam gate - I am the one who put that info out on this thread!.
But a damn gate was not blown, the middle of the damn was blown- Cant be done with himars. And Ukraine is not going to place explosives in the middle of the dam with Russians there.
So how did Ukraine blow the dam?

It’s a propaganda war, as well....and since the lying left Democrats are also involved, I would question any and everything said that makes Ukraine the “perpetual victims”. So the problem is....now...our own government is behind most of the lies.

If Russia wanted to shut down gas to Europe it could have just shut down the valve of Gas...why blow Nordstream?
