Ukraine is also blaming Russia for the dam destruction, but it benefits Ukraine, not Russia, as the land on their side of the river is lower and the canal to Crimea is useless. When the reservoir is drained, the Nuke Power plant up stream will have no cooling water and will have to be shut down. NONE of this benefits Russia. Ukraine did it.

How does Russia shutting down Ukraine’s power plant benefit Ukraine. It just happens to be the largest one in Europe so is a huge power loss for Ukraine. I’m sure Putin is happy.
