The IRS picked the day a bombshell report was released outlining how liberals weaponized the federal government to attempt to destroy Donald Trump to fire its agents who were pursuing Hunter Biden for possible tax evasion.

According to The Washington Examiner, the IRS axed the entire team that was looking into President Joe Biden’s son for lying about his income taxes.

Presumably this is an attempt to do an end-run around the whistleblower protections because they can say that they were directed by the FBI to take the action rather than deciding to do it themselves, thereby not making it retaliatory since the IRS ostensibly didn’t make the decision.
