It looks to me that the graphene oxide was just used to coat the gold foil grids used to analyze the vaccine proteins. I previously suggested that graphene oxide was either a byproduct of either the synthesis or analysis processes. From these documents, the latter seems to be the case, and would not be present in the actual vaccine.
