I have no idea if this is true. If it is, Rove is doing nothing in DeSantis’ interest but is merely trying to damage DeSantis’ long term viability.

Those of use around in the late 90s remember G W MORON and Jeb being touted as the most conservative Governors in the country, so of course we were thrilled when W MORON won the Presidency. We simply didn’t know better.
Now, DeSantis is touted as the most conservative governor in the country - rightfully so - so forgive us for asking a lot of questions about him. Honestly it’s not a good look for him to not be endorsing and working with Trump. If he’s working with Bush people then there is zero reason to trust him.

Rove managed all Bush’s campaigns. Gov of Texas, two term president. He appears far more competent than Trump’s 2020 team.
