Rep. Matt Gaetz on Wednesday called on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to resist any attempt to haul former President Donald Trump back to New York to face criminal charges.
In an interview with News Nation, the Fort Walton Beach Republican said Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s efforts to indict Trump are politically motivated and will likely make Trump stronger in the long run.

It’s pretty much the same in every state.
You don’t seem to understand DeSantis has no standing in this and is not involved in any kind of Extradition Process. Grand Jury Indicts, then a warrant is issued and if the person is in a mother state then you have extradition. Person can. fight extradition in court, court rules and that is it.
You don’t seem to understand I was being facetious and reflecting what EverTrumpers demand of DeSantis.
I watched a real life video once of the Sheriff’s office in a US County trying to arrest a Chief of Police in one of the counties city.
Didn’t happen. County Sheriff’s deputies faced off with the City Cops. It was big boys against big boys. The female officers literally stood to the side.
After several hours of shouting and pushing, no fists were thrown and some compromise was reached and they all went back to work.
As I recall, vaguely, the Sheriff, who controlled the jail wouldn’t let City Cops book bad guys anymore.
Nobody got hurt, nobody got arrested, but it sure looked like blows were going to start flying for a long time.
So, there is documented evidence of one agency against another agency in an arrest scenario.
