According to recent reports, law enforcement and security agencies at the local, state, and federal levels are getting ready for a possible indictment of former President Donald Trump as soon as next week.
These agencies are carrying out preliminary security assessments and deliberating over potential security arrangements around the Manhattan Criminal Court situated at 100 Centre Street. The discussion revolves around the chance that Trump may be charged with an alleged hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels and could travel to New York to face the charges if any.
As PJ Media’s Robert Spencer noted on Friday, it appears that the upcoming preparations for Donald Trump’s arrest are being designed to maximize their impact on the media. The intention is not just to arrest Trump but to handcuff and perp-walk him, creating a highly sensationalized event.
This should come as no surprise, especially considering the pre-dawn raid of Roger Stone’s home in 2019, complete with CNN on the scene, and the unprecedented raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago last year. So far, nothing the radical left has done has managed to stop Trump from being legally able or politically viable enough to seek the presidency again, and it’s reasonable to see how those who have been trying to get Trump for something would resort to political theatrics and create a media spectacle.
But what will happen if this actually takes place? Indicting Trump alone over ridiculous charges would backfire dramatically on the left, but a made-for-TV-crime-drama with Trump as the star would most certainly take the word “backfire” to a new level.
That’s not according to me; that’s according to Elon Musk.

ALAS,Mr. Musk is still thinking in terms of a what used to be regular, traditional election which was free of corruption and cheating.
This assumption no longer applies in the age of mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting and ( as in Arizona ) sudden broken election machines.
2020 and 2022 has changed all normal way of thinking and Musk ought to get with the times.
Whether it longterm helps Trump or not, I so much don’t want this to happen.

I don’t even understand this. Florida police, or Texas next weekend, would have to execute the warrant. The notion that the governor/ law enforcement in either jurisdiction would allow the perp walking off Trump is nuts. More likely an agreement is reached with trump to travel to New York to be booked and released. Any other scenario is leftist wet dream stuff

Hope this will backfire on the GOPe too as they are (and have been) complicit all the way for a generation. Some will argue that a modern third party will not work for a variety of reasons, I’d argue that we need a two-party system first.
The uniparty is why America is falling apart and we owe the feds $32,000,000,000,000 in redistribution of wealth over the last generation. The republicans/do-nothings will lose in 2026 anyway if recent history is any indication. Putting Trump in cuffs is maybe what we need to float this once free sinking ship.

As I said on another thread the corrupt pseudo justice system is only Plan A. Don’t believe for a moment they will allow Trump to win and be alive on Inauguration Day. No more than JFK was allowed to have a 2nd term. Or witnesses lived to testify against major crime figures.
