I don’t see the logic behind that either.
Doesn’t make Trump look good if his supporters think that DeSantis needs to ride to his rescue. That this is something that Trump can’t handle.
Who cares? If DeSantis would sit back and not say a word about a politically-motivated prosecution, he’s unfit to ever be President.
