‘Spill’ of classified info derails Proud Boys trial [Feds gave orders to destroy evidence. Feds also violated client-attorney confidentiality.]
Politico ^ | March 9, 2023 | Kyle Cheney

She raised particular concerns about a message sent to Miller by another agent who works on covert activity — and who she said did not work on the Proud Boys case — describing a supervisor’s order to “destroy 338 items of evidence.”

Some of the messages appeared to reveal that FBI agents accessed contacts between defendant Zachary Rehl and his attorney

“Violating liens-attorney confidentiality is also a crime.”

Only if the crime is prosecuted. Michael Cohen, Trump’s attorney, being prosecuted for violating attorney client privilege. The FBI routinely seizes laptops and private documents on raids of homes in which correspondence between a client and attorney is seized. There have been reports the FBI raid on Mar a Lago swept up attorney client documents. Judges seem to have no issues with this blatant violation of Constitutional rights. How many telephone calls between attorneys and clients are being captured by prosecutors today?

Laws only work if they are applied fairly, equally, and even handedly by virtuous people. When those administering the law (police, prosecutors, and judges) are immoral, corrupt, highly political, and contemptuous of the law the judicial system itself becomes a criminal enterprise and enabler of tyranny.

They screwed up and now the defense has their inside cheating scheme, which likely shows evidence manipulation. “Spill” means the defense got info on how the prosecution was cheating. Too crocked by half.

Well said, and absolutely true. I remember as a kid reading comments by F. Lee Bailey in which he stated that he told his clients their guilt or innocence was irrelevant to the outcome of their trial - essentially saying that truth wasn't really the major determinant in court. I was not that cynical at that time in my life and I didn't really think of the implications of his statements. Now, sadly, I see how correct he was - only it's much worse now.

No consequences, which is today’s norm for those doing the deep state’s work, means unlimited cheating, lying, no ethics, no morals, etc. Our government has become a cancer.

Destroying evidence is a crime. Violating client-attorney confidentiality is also a crime.

Neither of which will be punished, or even acknowledged by the current regime.

But Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia, at least according to some here. They never seem to post or even comment on non-Russia/Ukraine threads.

Isn’t classification of info to hide a crime also itself a crime?

Politico is spinning like a top - a very high-speed top. The agent said she was given “a supervisor’s order to “destroy 338 items of evidence.” She specifically DIDN’T say that she was told to suppress “classified” information. The government got caught illegally hiding information from the defense. It’s as simple as that.

“Neither of which will be punished, or even acknowledged by the current regime.”

Impeach Biden and his entire cabinet for it. Include the J6 committee, every politician who supported condemning the protest as an insurrection as well as the media who reported on it.

Just show all the video evidence at the trial and the medias as well as elected pols comments. Clean house in one fell swoop, because that’s what needs to happen and can only happen by the American people. And we do it on our day of Independence to make the biggest impact.

Everybody involved in that frameup should lose their pensions and be barred from local, state or Fed.gov employment permanently

Destroying evidence is a crime. Violating client-attorney confidentiality is also a crime.

The only de facto crime is opposing fedgov. Crimes in service to fedgov, are no longer crimes.

What?! They found emails where we talked about destroying evidence, violating attorney-client confidentiality, and altering documents?!

Ok, let’s just say it’s all “classified” and act like it never happened. Good? Ok, great. Have a nice weekend everyone.
