"For no greater evil can befall a people than the loss of historical memory."
Bilker Memorial Book ^ | 1998 | Dr. Moshe Avital

More than 50 years passed since the Jewish communities of Bilke and Vicinity Kulbasavo, Ulitkes, Mistichev, Rakovetz, Osy, Yilnitze, Likiveh, were eradicated. Two thousand of our dear ones, our parents, brothers, sisters and other family members died in the Holocaust by the hands of the evil forces in Europe, with great suffering and torture. All the Jewish Institutions, the synagogues, the houses of learning, the “Chadarim” Hebrew schools, the Yeshivah, the mikvah, hundreds of Jewish homes, businesses, the Jewish youth clubs, and many others, have either been destroyed or taken by the non-Jewish population. Bilke and vicinity is no more Jewish, it is “Judenrein”. Hitler – may his name be eradicated – has accomplished his goal, the destruction of everything that was dear to us.

In the Memorial Book our landsleit tell about our town, about the rich and vibrant spiritual and cultural life, which was conducted for over three hundred years, during the fifteen generations that our community existed. In this book, one can find accounts of the calamity that befell our people during the six years of persecution and annihilation. Our landleit who survived miraculously describe the agony and sufferings they endured during their captivity under inhuman conditions which the Germans, the Hungarians and other collaborators inflicted upon them. In it we also find stories of heroic endurance and strong will to live so that they can leave a legacy for future generations.

During the Holocaust the few of us who struggled to survive, harbored in our hearts a deep Jewish pride that we carried along wherever we were driven by the Nazi beast. When the trumpet of freedom was finally

This is why it is important that we fight to preserve our history. If we don't, then the United States will be forgotten, just as the Jews of the Holocaust almost were. Dr. Avital is a good friend who died in September of 2020. I had the blessing of receiving many of his memories, either in his many books, or through personal discussions. Go to the English Translation section to see how history is being erased. Bilke was on the border between Ukraine and Hungary.

We’re not suffering a memory loss. History is in fact being rewritten by the Rats that hate liberties.

The Country has a nasty Rat infestation.

The BLMAZZHOs, the Snowflakes and the Zeros have done a wonderful job destroying American history and replacing it with mythical college professor boosh*t for jugheads. You know history is a joke in this country when the Dung Beetles in the RAT “media” proclaim another FJB “historical” moment every time Jo Jo busts a fart.

Thank you for posting. Another similar to this one, so you might find this article interesting, but I have not yet read the book itself:

“The historian Bernard Wasserstein is admired as a rigorous academic. In his monumental work on the Holocaust and his perceptive study of barbarism vs civilisation in the West, he strove for objectivity and maintained a professorial tone, as if writing of the past from an Olympian height.

Not so in this extraordinarily moving book about Krakowiec, the shtetl 40 miles from Lviv where his forebears lived for generations, and the role his family played there. At various times part of Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Germany and Soviet Russia, it was, he says, ‘a small place you’ve never heard of’. Yet its complex history is relevant today, as war returns to Eastern Europe.”

First two paragraphs. The rest here:

One of the most profound things that my friend said (after nearly dying countless times during the Holocaust) was included in his last book “The Failure of Man and the Enigma of God’s Silence”:

“The Holocaust was actually the destruction of the exile, and just for a moment it made it possible to correct the practice of seeking protection of the other nations. Instead this correction brought about the establishment of a Jewish State. This theory is based on the prophecy of Isaiah (54.8): “In slight anger, for a moment, I hid My face from you, but with kindness everlasting I will take you back in love, said the Lord your Redeemer.”
“One can only hope that we learned from the Holocaust tragedy, and that the Jewish people will never again be caught unprepared for any eventuality, and will maintain unity, which gives us strength.”

That is what Moshe told me when I asked him what was the lesson of the Shoach was, and would he go through it again. Not surprisingly, Israel has become too dependent on the US and will shortly be forced to deal with Iran in the harshest way. My prayer is that they remember that it is truly just them and God, and not the US. The US, or for that matter, any of the 70 nations have tried to make Israel dependent on them. Moshe spent a lifetime understanding why it should never happen again and that they are truly alone except for God’s Mighty Hand. You can access all of his books at Amazon or the other book sources. Just query Dr. Moshe Avital. BTW, Krakowiec is about 175 miles from Bilke (Driving distance), and in the same Oblast. So the Gentlemen might have been in the same cattle cars at some point. Moshe was in 6 camps and liberated at Buchenwald, I believe. He was sent to France after liberation for rehab.

What a friend you have in Moshe! I can tell you treasure that friendship, and rightly so. His words are wise, and hard earned (understatement!).

One of my oldest and dearest friends is the son of Holocaust survivors. He is a medical doctor and has dual US/Dutch citizenship and has humbly done much good in this world.

I thank you for the book references. Most sincerely! And for your post, with which I concur. I could tell a story or two of my own, but will save them.

And now I am off to Amazon.

Blacks have been a victim of this for decades. Their American history has been sanitized and replaced with a new set of stereotypes. And almost zero mention of the history of their African ancestors, replaced by the Woke-anda mythology.
