Simple forensics should have cleared him by now. Something is missing from this story.
I’m glad the old gentleman is out on bail, but does that mean he has returned to that same house that was broken into and vandalized? I hope he and his wife find some other place to live. Thanks to Open Borders, that place is not safe to live anymore. Many older people don’t want any such dramatic change in where they live, but most have never experienced what he and his wife did, with no officer of the law around to help them.
It’s a clear case of self defense and defense of one’s property. But that is apparently illegal now if illegal aliens are involved. They are the first class citizens now.
What’s next? Rounding up everyone opposed to illegal aliens flooding into our country? This incident is a touchstone to the issue of whether this nation’s leadership is willing to, or capable of, protecting this nation’s borders: one of its most essential obligations. If leadership isn’t up to the task, it should be discarded.
I watched the arraignment on TV. It was heartbreaking to see how that poor man was being treated. He was so pitiful and confused. It literally made me sick to my stomach.

It sounds like the warning shot may have stuck this man who was not with the group he was trying to scare off.
Hard to claim, in my view, that one was in fear of their life if they didn’t think it necessary to aim and shoot at the supposed threat itself and instead fired warning shots .
