Wait, so you’re saying that if ANTIFA broke into a govt building and was threatening a Republican lawmaker and was shot by law enforcement, that’s different than a woman wearing a MAGA hat breaking through a door and attempting to get into a room in the Capitol with Democrat lawmakers? Is that what you’re saying?

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
and
YES.

It was an outright murder. SOMEONE had to die — Nancy’s orders.

As I’ve said previously in this thread, yes, the DoJ did an investigation.

Well, so, as usual, every Republican has to declare a definitive answer for every question out there. I suppose he could have fudged things, going on about the tragedy and the lessons we all need to work together to learn, and we need to move forward, blah, blah, blah.

See at about 29 seconds. She was the first to climb through a window that had been violently busted, and a really, really large crowd was right behind her, ready to follow suit.

“the DoJ did an investigation.”

Most of us mean an ACTUAL investigation by unbiased reputable people with no skin in the game. DOJ is not that entity.

What you’re actually saying is “I will not recognize any investigation that does not reach the conclusion I want them to reach.”

And what you’re actually saying is, “The Department Of Justice does a fine job and let’s be happy about corruption.”

The question must be asked: did he elect to shoot and kill an unarmed woman who posed no threat to him? Go back to Drudge, ya putz.

Your ability to look back on this incident with the luxury of time and space and video is noted. However, the agent involved had no such luxury. So what you think of the incident NOW means nothing. All that matters is what a reasonable agent in his position would have thought with regard to intent, motive, and opportunity. The law agrees with the agent, not you.

“doing his job” implies the acceptable use of force for the situation This was not that. You can’t kill someone by using lethal force to stop them from climbing over a counter during a demonstration

Wrong. The corrupt cop is a murderer and belongs in prison.

“You don’t call someone a murderer...period...
And he was doing his job...protecting the Capitol. Do I like what happened?? No...but Ashli wasn’t bringing cookies to the Senators. “

What about the officers standing right next to her. Did they do their job too? What a moron

So the officers standing next to her were acting irresponsibly? Did they get fired for their irresponsibility? Yeah...ok

What are you talking about??? The officers behind her have nothing to do with this scenario. The agent who fired had no idea there were officers behind the crowd who were busy breaking the glass and climbing through the windows. And those officers behind her had no idea the agent had protectees in the room on the other side of the glass.

You people have absolutely no idea how the law actually works, do you? You deal with the facts at the time. If that agent had a reasonable belief at the time that he and his protectees were in danger of serious physical harm or death, he was authorized to fire.

You don't get to go back a month later and look at the video and say "well there were other officers at the scene and he couldn't see them but he should have known they were there!" None of you are making any sense!
