17? That is torture on the scale of the original movie.

Four years ago I broke my ankle and we looked up funniest movies of all time. It was a totally different list. I think it was a google list. This one has more modern movies. I liked the old ones. One of my favorites is The General. The first one on the list was Some Like it Hot. Hilarious. At least three Marx Brothers movies made the list. Several Mel Brookes movies. I didn’t see any of either of those on this list.

I like some of the newer ones, but they’re more crass.
It’s funny on occasion, but it’s almost everything now.

You said stay and I stayed.
I can’t even get a Border Collie to stay
Maybe a bit of paraphrasing

The whole movie is about the man having to improve and prove himself worthy of the woman. You don't see many movies where the woman sees herself as having to improve to be worthy of a man.Because most guys will simply move on and not wait for the woman to improve.
No! Rather: Because most guys are willing to say, "Ehh... Good enough!"

No! Rather: Because most guys are willing to say, "Ehh... Good enough!" That as well. Bottom line is, guys don't waste their time changing the woman, they either live with it, or move on.

I was reading just yesterday that Murray and director Harold Ramis were constantly arguing and fighting during production. It was brutal and not a fun movie to make. With Murray going out of his way (showing up late, etc.) to make trouble.
But.... It turned out to be a great movie.

No! Rather: Because most guys are willing to say, "Ehh... Good enough!" More like, women look for "Mr Right"
Guys are fine with "Miss Good Enough For Tonight".

Love both! Watching GD tonight. It’s become an annual thing for us the last few years. Kinda like watching It’s A Wonderful Life at Christmas. Wouldn’t be the same without it.

Harold called Bill a prima donna. They didn’t speak to each other for years after. Reconciled just before Harold died.

Hubby and I got married on Groundhog Day. As a prank, our friends who sang during our ceremony slipped in some of the “I got you, babe” in the mix. Pretty funny

That’s kinda sweet. Corny, but very sweet!
