I am bumping this post to the top of the page and updating because, well, I’ll explain.
First, thank you. Sincere and genuine thankfulness for your fellowship. Visitors to this site continue to prove that our nation is created by, and an assembly of, the most decent, honest, generous and kind-hearted people in the world. The responses to the question of ‘why didn’t you take the covid-19 shot?’ are nothing short of remarkable.
In the bigger picture if you want to fill up your faith cup and recognize the scale of commonsense assembly in our nation, take the time to read through the 2,000+ responses.
The feedback you are providing is exceptional and trust me when I say that far more people are reading these responses than you could fathom. Additionally, the responses have reasserted my belief in the scale of our national assembly. There are far more of us, ordinary, hardworking, commonsense, pragmatic and smart people, than the self-described intellectual elites would ever admit.
In addition to the responses below, there have been hundreds of emails answering the question, which suddenly made me realize that no one has really ever asked this question before in a format that provides ordinary people with the ability to respond.
There is also a yearning to talk about this issue, publicly and with deliberation; massively so. And I am hopeful (insert grin here) this small corner of the internet is about to push this conversation into a much larger national forum. Our nation needs a big conversation about this.
If I had to pick a single phrase to encapsulate the myriad of phenomenal responses to the question I would use the phrase, “intellectual discernment”; which again provides buckets of faith that a large number of people are wide awake, albeit part of what I call a potato revolution growing safely underground.
Also, unbeknownst to front page readers I am stunned at the people in/around operation warp-speed, these are people in government directly attached to the issue, who have contacted CTH on the backside, stepped forward and said they also didn’t take the shot because, well, despite their belief in the purpose and principle at the time, things were just not adding up and ultimately seemed sketchy. They couldn’t talk (so they felt), couldn’t even hint at their concern; but when it came to making the personal decision, they waited.
I also owe it to you to answer the question of my own status, which is a big heck no – I did not take the jab.
Why? Because in the preceding years of all my research into the rapidly exposed corruption of our government, there was just no way in hell I was going to trust that same system. A system that literally was working outside the constitution and legal framework of our nation to destroy a sitting U.S. President is going to suddenly care about my health. Nope, it did not align. I also looked at the datapoint of the U.S.S. Comfort delivered to New York City under the grandest of media proclamations about impending medical doom, only to see the ship sit empty and completely unused despite the scale of the narrative that surround its purpose.
Lastly, and more obliquely, the datapoint of one of my heroes Franklin Graham assembling a NY field hospital to serve over 20,000 patients; another massive endeavor that sat empty and without use. However, prior to the hindsight, it was the in-real-time fight from officials in/around the area who tried to block Samaritans Purse from setting up the facility. If the SARS-CoV-2 issue was as great a threat as declared, then why would anyone fight to keep out a field hospital that could provide such relief. It just didn’t make sense.
Those issues, and others, formed the baseline of my inability to reconcile the key issue of ‘trust’ needed to believe in the vaccine. Additionally, I am healthy and not within any of the risk factors. However, I also feel strongly that each health decision is unique to the individual person, and everyone was making the best decisions for them based on the available information at the time; so, I carry no judgement for those who made a different choice.
As noted, I am bumping this to the top of the site so that our conversation can continue. Normally I would start a new thread, but this one is different. I don’t want to break the continuity and I want to provide everyone the ability to see they are not alone.

Reader feedback request. I was quite shocked to review a poll I took on the Twitter last month showing that 85% of the people who follow the CTH Twitter account [TLR2] did not take the COVID-19 jab.
Without any judgement implied or inferred I am genuinely curious, why not?
With the situation clearly in hindsight, and/or given all the pressure that may have been applied to each individual situation, I am genuinely curious what was it that made you choose not to take the COVID-19 vaccination.
If you are comfortable, and please understand that no pressure is intended in any way whatsoever, could you share why you didn’t take the vaccine and how do you feel about that decision in hindsight?
If you did take the vaccination, there is also no judgement in this question. As I said back in 2021 each individual is unique, each situation is unique, and each person has to make the best decision about what is in their individual best interests. So please, don’t let this issue divide our conversation.
I am genuinely curious as to the reason so many people would withstand the public and perhaps peer pressure to follow the ‘vaccination’ advice. Also, how has that decision impacted your life? Did you lose friends and family over your personal health decision? Did those relationships heal over time? Or anything else you might find pertinent to the general question.

My OWN DOCTOR told me “It’s not a vaccine, it’s not safe, and it’s not effective”. He solemnly told me to go catch it and he would pull me through. (He’d done it himself, before Ohio banned Ivermectin.) Try as I might, I never did. Still a Control Natural to this day.

One saw it right off. This Fauci dude is a little creep who is full of pride and expects POTUS and everyone else to bow down to him.
POTUS DJT got snookered mostly by Fauci and The Scarf B***h, and that was that, Operation Warp Speed was on, due to Trump’s worst personnel mistake. Fauci should have been fired about 10 minutes after he publicly shot down Trump regarding hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
From one’s own personal POV, this was all confirmed when the propaganda PSAs began airing on the radio.
First the “Good ol’ boy”... Some voice actor from probably Maryland or Connecticut, affecting a STUPID regional accent: “Have ya heard the GOOD NEWS about Covid vaccines”?
Then the humble Latina lady... “My grandmother gathers us all around in her kitchen, because she loves her family and wants us to be safe...”
Then, likewise the Native American Elder: “My people know what’s good for them...”
Frankly this stuff was just very off-putting, let’s say it that way. It was confirmation of one’s first impressions.
This has all since been totally confirmed by The Scarf Bitch’s open admission about falsifying data that she and her boss were presenting to POTUS at the time.
So, just to tie it all back and make it about oneself...
Despite all the mistakes and misadventures as one approaches another turnover of the 10 digit, one is consoled that one didn’t submit to the clot shot.
Also because one is usually honest about most things a lot of the time with almost everyone, one honestly doesn’t know what one would have done if one were in an employment situation that required it.
All one can say is, now more than ever, teach your kids to properly prioritize the important matters in life, and to always have a Plan B quietly in waiting. Walk away from that job if necessary, go home and open the doors to one’s workshop and turn on the lights. Blasphemy in the pre-CCP days, Truth today.

The very first reason was EUA & I knew ‘they’ were not being truthful (lying) about all of the ‘safety’ being in place despite the rush. Whatever the government/medical industrial complex was saying to do, the opposite was what made common sense & was backed up by real science, not the political science they were foisting upon ‘the people’ & in fact humanity, because many other countries looked to FDA/CDC for their guidance as well.
As a faithful FR reader I read enough here on this website to deter me from getting the shot. I had some pressure from some acquaintances but it wasn’t like they had any leverage on me. My sister and her family got the shots due to work and school but once I stated my reasons the matter was dropped and there were no problems. Did FR save my life? Who knows but I’m thankful FR exists.
Why not? I have an independent brain. I just don’t do things that anyone tells me to do, “just because”. I have never ever been blindly compliant about anything. It is a principle for me and I just don’t bend on principles. That is the first and root reason I and my family never took the shot; it gave us pause to think. After thinking the reasons to not take the shot became manifold:
Things just did not smell right. I pay attention to my gut feelings and don’t move until I’ve investigated them. Doing nothing is sometimes a good option.
My BIL is a vet with a Phd in virology, the test subjects int he SARS vaccine trials, similar composition vaccine, all died from broken immune systems. Every one of them.
mRNA, I came in with OEM parts and am going out the same way. God don’t make junk.
It came too fast, too convenient. Almost like it was part of a greater plot

When plugs mandated it and shook his finger in our face I became resolved to disobey and offer up a giant EFF YOU.
So many smart people were willing to debate against the jab and nobody was willing to debate against them and for it.
Obfuscation, the truth was being hidden. Just about anyone should have been able to see that. There was a reason for the evasion of the truth.
If you are in trouble never do anything that will not improve your position. Only take positive steps and never ones that may make matters worse.
The protocols were killing people, not so much the virus. We learned that quickly.
It did not take long to see that that something big and different was happening in Africa and the difference was probably Ivermectin. The fight against that information and other in favor of Ivermectin was just too intense. Something nefarious was going on.
We live a pretty isolated life here in the middle of our square mile. Retired, no need to play along. Pity for the poor sods that took it to keep a job.

Oh yeah also to add one more to the count, hang everyone involved in the conspiracy and the deception. This includes media mouthpieces too.
All of them, hang them publicly and dramatically, right after the fair trials.

Since our military is probably the highest percent vaxxed group in the world, I wouldn’t be sending any threats to the CCP unless you purebloods have built a pretty strong militia.

- In January 2020, I had a 24 hour illness. It is possible I already had Covid-19, and I am already immune to it.
- The normal “7 to 10” day wait to design a proper vaccine has not occurred yet.
- It was unknown how harmful the VIRUS was. And still ain’t known today.
- It was unknown how harmful the VACCINES were. And still ain’t known today.
- It was unknown if any drug interactions with my daily prescriptions. And still ain’t known today.
- I am suspicious that the virus was purposely designed to satisfy someone’s belief that “we have too many people on our planet” and kill some of us...
- ... and the vaccines were purposely designed to hopefully finish off the rest of us.
- Most of my bosses and all of my doctors insisted I get vaxxed.
- And I’m too old to worry about it.

I asked some additional pointed questions about early research, and was essentially stonewalled. The vaccine wasn't available yet.
When I got home again, I started searching the Internet. I was amazed to find some preliminary treatment options, coupled with the censorship that surrounded such discussions.
When the vaccine became available, I decided to wait until there was more data. What I saw said "Don't", as I read more and more about blood clot issues. I also found the zinc et cetera supplement plan, which I continue to this day. Particularly Vitiman D.
Now, I suspect I had COVID in early 2019 based on symptoms, and definitely again in 2022, again based on symptoms. The first time was rough, the second time it was on the order of a flu bug. No hospitalization either time.
The first time, I lost my sense of smell, which didn't come back fully for about half a year. I also had Bell's Palsy, which I worked through at home (with an eye patch to protect my right eye).
"You should get the shot, the blood thinners you are on should protect you against clots." -- my cardiologist! No evidence, let alone corroboration, that was true.
Ivermectine? "We are not allowed to prescribe that off label; it's a company rule." So, horse paste for me, which fortunately I never had to use -- didn't even take it out of the box it came in. Thank you, Amazon.
And that's the story why I never got the vaccine that wasn't.

No research had been done regarding possible long-term bad effects and drug companies wouldn’t take liability. Simple logic said “don’t experiment on your own body”.
It’s been a much less stressful time and I’ve stayed untouched by the virus or the shots.
