This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“NATO may provide Ukraine with over $3 billion from Afghan Fund – media reports”
“NATO countries are considering using leftover funds from a pot of money previously used to back the Afghan security forces to provide support to Ukraine in the coming weeks, U.S. political news outlet Politico reported on Dec. 7.
Politico, referring to five Western officials familiar with the matter, said the money, known as the Afghan National Army Trust Fund, had been intended for use in equipping and training troops.”

‘Member of the European Parliament from Ireland Clare Daly pointe out how Zelensky have banned most parties specially left the wing and stated that Ukraine will not be able to return the millions of dollars allocated to it by the European Union during the conflict, as Kiev spends everything on a proxy war with Russia.
◾ “Since the tap was turned on, Zelenskiy has banned most opposition parties, shuttered the media, attacked trade unions and workers rights,” the MEP noted.
◾ “Ukraine is marked for a nightmare round of shock therapy, a sell of public lands, deregulation of labor, sale of public assets…on it goes. The country’s future is being sold to finance a proxy war that’s tearing it apart”, Daly emphasized.”

Ukraine ping
War in Ukraine transcript, courtesy of PIF: [About 155mm shells, just have a big picture of what’s going on with them in general. US Secretary of Defense is set to purchase 164,000 155mm shells in 2023, this is definitely not even close to be enough to cover to cover intense use during this war. There’s definitely shortages developing in Europe; its already known, but I suspect that in US eventually, the shortages will develop, and that’s why this move because its a pretty large number, and that’s a result of what’s happening with the US stockpile.
US production is now about 14,000; the plan is to increase it to 20,000 per month by spring and then to 40,000 sometime in 2024 this is per month. Even if we take Ukraine during the intense time and 5,000 or 3,000-5,000 per day during lower intensity times, its not covering the need, even for this even 40,000 per month shell production.
Its not even covering like a third of a month, there will be huge shortage of 155mm shells, an acute shortage, and probably something similar is happening in Russia, because we hear rumors that Russia going to North Korea, Iran, & probably to China, and everywhere to buy more shells. That’s one of the weakest links in this whole war.]

Wow, SlowPoke, that sounds kind of bad. Almost like Ukraine is slowly losing, and everyone will be freezing and starving by next month.
But keep posting your silly little “tanks destroyed” count. It surely doesn’t tell the tale of the real war. ]

Today, they don’t have material parity with the Russians, but they are close enough to perhaps eke out a win. We’ll see how it goes.
Showing your true colors now by quoting Clare Daly, eh?,
Daly is a Trotskyite so far to the left and so pro-Russia/China that even the other lefties don't like her. The fact that you apparently keep up on what she has to say should tell everyone where your political sympathies.
With rhe hardcore, pro-Moscow/Beijing left.
Both sides are going to be running low on artillery ammunition, but reducing the role of artillery in that war actually helps the Ukrainians.
“The situation with artillery ammo is probably a larger constraint on the Russian military than Ukraine’s, and one of the driving factors behind the retrenchment adopted after Kharkiv, in an effort to conserve ammo use.”

Even the Turks are pouring hundreds of millions to keep Ukraine’s lights on.
You’re a fool if you think they’re going to freeze and this’ll save your masters in Moscow. And once it becomes clear they’ve failed, what’s next for your buddies who can’t win on the battlefield?

I’d be surprised if manufacturing capabilities hadn’t improved substantially since then. Ukraine’s problem is that it doesn’t have a safe place to make just about anything, thanks to deficiencies in its air defenses. Locations outside of Ukraine are completely safe - it’s just a question of mustering the resources, which are substantial. Over 100K workers in the UK alone were involved in churning out those shells. Assuming fully-loaded payroll for 100K workers is $50K each on average, that’s $5b per year - just for salaries and bennies. What about tooling? Vehicles? Storage? Safety equipment? Real estate?
If the Russians are in the process of standing up a WWI scale artillery shell plant complex, and a howitzer plant complex to replace the worn-out batteries currently on the front lines, the Ukrainians are in for a world of hurt. Without offsetting transfers of Western equipment and ammo in the volumes needed to take out vastly increased numbers of artillery batteries, we are looking at a rerun of Russian advances over this past summer.
Note that the UK increased shell production by 40x in the four-year course of the war, 100 years ago, so the Russians don’t need some Buck Rogers-level technological leap to ramp up, just the political will to muster the necessary resources. My bet is that if Putin can mobilize a million men, he can get the dough and materials to put these plants together.
Wilhelmine Germany, a fairly small place excluding its African colonies, was under a tight embargo, yet managed to get enough material to make 100K shells a day. Russia’s massive land area means porous borders and ample room for sanctions-busting. Russia can get what it needs, albeit for some premium.
