Ukraine-Lights Out, No Water And Soon No Heat

Earlier today the Russian military shut down the Ukrainian electricity network.

Previous attacks had limited the distribution capacity to some 50% of demand. Controlled blackouts over several hours per day allowed to give electricity for a few hours to most parts of the country. The attack today created a much larger problem. Not only were distribution networks attacked but also the elements that connect Ukraine's electricity production facilities to the distribution network. All four nuclear power stations of Ukraine with their 15 reactors are now in shutdown mode.

Kiev along with most other cities of Ukraine no longer has electricity.

Moldova is likewise affected as it received some 20% of its electricity from Ukraine. When the Ukrainian network shut down the only local thermal power plant shut down too. It is likely that it can be switched on again but that can be a complicated process.

Limited electricity imports from the European system into Ukraine may still be possible but that electricity would only be available in Ukraine's western cities...

And Canada plans to import 1.5 million people by 2025 to take over jobs as older workers leave the workforce.

That’s what happens when the deepstate money laundering scheme (ftx) dries up.

And the imports won't be named Angus, Duncan, Lachlan, or Hamish.

Canada will henceforth be known as The Great Dark North.

“Ukraine’s Soviet-era power system cannot be fixed quickly or easily.”

I suspect that Russia has PLENTY of spare parts for Ukraine’s power system. Unfortunately for the Neocons, that means their war will have to stop first, if they want power restored to Ukraine.

I couldn’t care less about Ukraine.

I’ve worked and paid taxes all my life and because of Brandon’s energy policy, my house is like an igloo...and my tax dollars are going to the 4th. most corrupt country in the world.

Either I eat or heat.

My gosh, why doesn’t the GOP care?

How does attacking the civilian population in Kyiv win the war on the battlefield (which Russia is objectively losing) insomuch that it does not impact the movement or supply of troops at all? Considering each time this happens Kyiv brings power back on within 24 hours, what exactly is the long term goal either? Ukraine will always bring back the power because western support might as well be unlimited. Russian missiles are not.

So, can you explain how this tactic is actually going to work or is proof of Russia winning in some logical way?

Just because you get a stiffy when Russians terrorize civilians doesn't mean it's "winning."

Obviously not an attack on the civil population, but on the power grid, cutting power/water etc. support from under troops in a way meant to spare civilians as much as possible.

No, no legitimate source believes the Russians are 'objectively losing' on the battlefield.

It's not 'just a flesh wound' and the Ukrainians have never restored power anywhere to full capacity as they lack the parts needed to repair the damaged substations. And now they are losing the ability to partially power the regions. You see, Putin was saying "stop attacking us or I will cut power" and Zelensky needs to maintain 'the narrative' that he's winning so he continued to attack, using remaining troops as canon fodder, in order to be able to ask for more 'foreign aid' to give Biden, Dems, and other globalists.

Russia is winning in every way. They are not terrorizing citizens. Zelensky could have prevented this by ceasing attacks and sabotaging bridges etc., but Zelensky serves the globalists, not the citizens.
