Looks to me like he’s governing Florida. That’s what the Governor of Florida is supposed to do.
It also looks like people with bad intentions are trying to stir up trouble.
Once again:
If you’re trashing Trump, YOU’RE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
If you’re trashing DeSantis, YOU’RE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
If you’re trashing Youngkin, YOU’RE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
Don’t be part of the problem.
Probably not. He eventually has to stick up for Floridians against the DOJ and FBI leftists, just like he did on election day, even if that means helping a seeming political rival.
FD: I did vote for him, and I think he's done a great job in general.
Why does he have to respond?
I expect Trump to be a team player. I expect the same from DeSantis.
If he backs away from Trump and does not offer vigorous defense of him, then he’s a fool of the first order for the same will be done to him in his turn.
Don’t be another Jeb!, Mr. Governor, Sir.
Trump can choose DeSantis as his running mate in 2024.
Then, VP DeSantis can run and win the Presidency in 2028.
I ignore every post connecting Trump and DeSantis.
So why is DeSantis obligated to say anything about it? It’s Trump’s fight.
Well, it sure isn't according to Joe Hoft, who obviously knows much better than Ron DeSantis what Ron DeSantis should do. I get the impression that no matter what Governor DeSantis does or does not, this guy will find something wrong with it.
What this 'columnist' is doing is what is called 'scripting' in psychology. Wherein the writer wants a certain behavior from another, and that other is supposed to pick it up by mental telepathy. And when that target person doesn't do as the scripter desires, the motives can only be bad.
I'm sure that DeSantis has his reasons, and he's not obligated to tell us all of his motives. Instead, look at the man, see what he does for the state of Florida, and what he does say. And filter out the noise, because it's only going to get a lot louder as time goes on.
I’m pretty sure he’s the Governor of Florida, not a media pundit nor a 2024 candidate.
Why should DeSantis speak out on this at this time?
Trump is responsible for hiring his own attorney.
Trump has better verbal skills than just about anybody; he can speak of the evil being done himself.
The incessant politically motivated pursuit of Trump shows how rabidly insane the Democratic power structure is. Tens of millions of Americans obviously need to pay better attention.
People filled with hate should never be given great power.
No other governors said anything....no big deal. The frothing at the mouth anti DeSantis freaks will have come up with something else.
Silence by DeSantis will keep the wolves away from him until the primaries are over. That is when they will turn the wolves loose. The Swamp wants a viable alternative to Trump to keep him from winning the primaries.
Dance with the one who brung ya...
DeSantis should be a staunch Trump supporter.
Like most, I was smiling and liking DeSantis.
But then last week Elise Stefanik burst forward with a strong endorsement of President Trump and I expected DeSantis to do likewise. But he did nothing.
I watched and witnessed state media, Never-Trumpers and GOP establishment clamor to DeSantis. Then it became clear what he is.
But there’s much more. I saw and posted how FL was receiving millions upon millions of mail-in ballots. No, DeSantis had not stopped mail-in ballots. And that meant those controlling election rigging were giving him a pass:

Who cares?! Seriously, he’s a newly reelected governor. Why should he inject himself into national politics?
It’s driving the MSM mad that he’s being so uninvolved.
Someone would find fault with ANYTHING he could say. No win.
Sure, he could have said something, but faulting him for not doing so, is silly.
Is this a good move by DeSantis?

Best move for a Deep Stater like Desantis is to stay in Fla - maybe later run for House or Senate. Or just leave politics altogether and learn to code.
