I might consider reactivating my dormant account over there. I cannot say how long it has been since I opened it to pretty much never use it, 5 years? Ten? I honestly cannot remember.

All you really need are people to keep everything working.
Not only was there probably a lot of dead weight, but very likely a lot of them were doing nothing related to the technical development and upkeep, but instead working the 'social engineering' side of their game.
I agree with the person who said to higher conservatives.
Don't be like Trump and trust the establishment types to con you about their experience and connections. Find the guys who could make twitter themselves, and get them to come in and make twitter better.

Actually, Musk didn't fire all those people.
Half of the 7,500 people were fired, and they get about 3 months of severance.
If I believe the reporting, about 75% of the remainimg other half quit because they aren't "hard core." Btw, they don't get severance.
That leaves about 900 employees.
If the avg salary at Twit is $150k, that's an annual savings of $980MM. Even removing 3 months of severance (appx $140MM) he's still waaaaay ahead of the game.

If only Elon Musk had bought the United States Government and done the same.
