Sure, the site still runs. Now try to fix a problem. Then try to implement a new feature. Good luck!!

Computers are like that. Systems can run for years of you don’t screw with it. Yep..until I get into the code.
To: Enlightened1
The same could be done at FB, Google, and all other social media sites.
Look how few people it takes to run FR!

If this works it will be a case study for all MBA training. Twitter is probably an extreme case, but people ought to realize that many companies and many industries have too many employees. There is the old formula that 20% of the workers do 80% of the work. That's true almost everywhere. And think about government! Probably very much like Twitter: fire 99% of government employees and nothing much would happen.
If this realization sinks in ... we could see tremendously reduced levels of employment. Work gets done. "Stuff" is produced. And about 80% of the population sits at home with nothing to do.
Once can debate precise numbers, but I think we are rapidly headed to a future with greatly reduced need for human labor. Plumbers will be fine. Certain job categories will be fine. But a lot of the workers out there will not be needed and that's going to be a huge problem.

Elon Musk has offered to buy the FBI for $100 million.
No word on whether Hillary Clinton will sell.

In the 80’s, jokes went through companies via fax. One cartoon that stuck with me was a drawing of a sign that said:

WORK OR BE FIRED

In my early days at FR I learned something that was huge to me.
Having worked for myself most of my life I was puzzled how at about 5:00pm FR postings would die out and I was mystified until many posters told me that was when work let out.
I didn’t know that people were doing this internet stuff while at work, and was really shocked to learn that was where MOST of it was done from.

Elon needs to immediately, get code operational that sniffs out accounts and other data being leaked to the rat leaders and orgs! Then pursue ex-employee charges and governmental charges to incarcerate these a$$holes.
