We have extensively discussed China’s fifth-generation fighter – the J-20 Mighty Dragon, which is now based at all regional theater commands in China to deploy in times of war quickly. It has radar-evading characteristics allowing it to join the exclusive club of stealth fighters to challenge F-22s and F-35s. China seems to be pumping out more J-20 models each month.
Now Beijing’s air force is raising the stakes with its sixth-generation fighter on display at the Zhuhai Airshow. This is again to match the planned American Next-Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter. When it looks like the United States Air Force jumps ahead, the Chinese air force leapfrogs back into the lead.

Who cares? How many tens of billions does Winston Zelensky need this month? Let’s try to stay with the program, please.
There have been pictures of a strange fighter belonging to the US Navy. It’s a sixth generation:

China wants a better Air Force than Taiwan.
Manned air superiority fighters will be obsolete in the near future. AI controlled aircraft will be more maneuverable and faster reacting. Attack aircraft will still be manned.
“...Winston Zelensky...”
LMAO!
drones that sound like mopeds are really cheap and pretty hard to shoot down. You could use something like Phalanx point defense, but first they have really low radar cross sections and second the drone is a whole lot cheaper than the Phalanx system bullets to shoot down the drone.
They’d have to copy the US or Israel’s flight stability software to keep that from tumbling. They also don’t have engines to make it “go” without being seen. Stealth of this variety comes at the price of stability and is useless without also masking the engine signature.
I’m sure Hunter will broker the deal for the Big Guy shortly.
This particular fighter is supposed to quarterback a mini swarm of drones, each with a specific purpose.
Go use the brave search engine (not dependent on the China-edited Google database) and search for China’s “loyal wingman” drone.
It’s well past the vapor ware stage like this fighter.
And, yes, I do believe I will be among the last human fighter pilots on the planet.
They don’t design their own stuff. They copy our stuff.
has it been blooded?
if so where?
“China could soon have a better Air Force than us...”
No offense intended, but I doubt that very much. China’s J-20 has not been tested in combat so it’s ability to perform as well, or compete against, the F22 and F-35 is questionable.
Also, many of articles like this are written, designed and promoted by the US military and defense industry to frighten Congress and the public into keeping tax payer funding rolling in.
Just my opinion.
