We were talking about some of the bellwethers in Virginia.
Republicans have taken one of those bellwethers in VA-02.

Jen Kiggans has flipped the seat from Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA), and from Democrat to Republican. This was the race that Fox was predicting if Republicans won, they’d win the House. That seems a good bet at this point–just a question of how much.

Shat in VA not going to get fixed till all of Northern VA and the Leftists held urban areas are cleansed and we all know that is not going to happen. In fact, they are steady growing.
Those of us in rural VA are pretty fraked in that degree but time will tell though its not looking good overall.

I was redistricted back to Rob Whitman’s district and couldn’t vote for Jen, but I did donate and was praying Luria would get booted.

Wow is that the truth… even Keith Ellison won again. I think what’s being missed is that the US is no longer a center-right country. With the exception of Florida and a few other red states, it’s center-left and getting bluer.
VA Republicans control the house of delegates, the governorship, the lieutenant governorship, and the attorney general's office and are only two seats shy of controlling the state senate.
