Biden Falsely Claims Gas Was “Over $5” Per Gallon When He Took Office. He’s More Than 2.5 Bucks Off [The actual price was $2.39. How will Dems try to explain this one away?]

The New York Times recently tried to convince the public that Biden’s pathological dishonesty about easily verified facts is just “folksiness,” calling his lies “exaggeration,” “falsehood,” “claims,” “embellishing,” and “stories.” Really anything but “lies.” And yet, Biden continues to blatantly lie to the American public, probably because he is no longer able to distinguish reality from his delusional fantasy world. Today, he claimed that “today, the most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office.”

First of all, I’m not sure where he’s getting his current gas price number because the average price of gas in America is $3.76, according to AAA. But technically, that’s not what he said, is it. He said “the most common price of gas,” which is different than the average price of gas. And the number is lower, too, which looks better for him when people simply assume he means “average.” That’s manipulative, and that’s clearly why they chose to have him say it like that. I’m honestly surprised he got that little bit of language manipulation correct. I don’t know that I’d have trusted him to say those exact words exactly right. What if he misunderstood and said “average,” which could then be fact checked as false since that is not actually the current average price of gas.

Then he goes on to claim that gas was “over $5” when he came into office. That isn’t even CLOSE to true. The average price of gas was $2.39/gallon when Biden took over. But really, who’s going to care about yet another Biden gaffe, right? Probably CNN will be obligated to publish a cursory fact-check stating that Biden was incorrect. But they don’t find it concerning that he lies willy nilly about whatever he wants because he has no grasp on reality and is seemingly accountable to no one.

By the way, even the people who were required to be at this event were bored and frustrated that it was taking so long. Check out this hot mic video.

Dems don’t see the need to explain anything away.

“1984”. Part 1, Chapter Four:

“As short a time ago as February, the Ministry of Plenty had issued a promise (a “categorical pledge” were the official words) that there would be no reduction of the chocolate ration during 1984. Actually, as Winston was aware, the chocolate ration was to be reduced from thirty grammes to twenty at the end of the present week. All that was needed was to substitute for the original promise a warning that it would probably be necessary to reduce the ration at some time in April.”

“1984” Chapter Five:

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week.”

If Biden says gasoline was $5.00/gallon when he came into the office, you can bet that, within a week, the “Talking Heads” and other influencers on MSM will be commenting on how high gas was when Biden was inaugurated and thanking him for lowering gas prices to what they are now. Social media platforms will censor any postings to the contrary as “misinformation” and there will be a problem with accessing any records or data that show something different.
