An Open Letter to Those I Care About Who Refuse to Engage

You have not considered what it would mean for you if I am right. You need to. Now.

To those I care about:

That you think I’m crazy is not primarily an insult to me. It makes me feel sad for you.

If you feel insulted in what’s to follow, ask yourself how I must feel, having spent days, weeks, months, or longer trying to convince you to reconnect to your humanity.

And please do not do yourselves or me the favor of pretending, “well, I don’t think you’re crazy, but…”

I don’t care to be lied to. I do not lie to you.

The extent to which it bothers me that you think I’m crazy is the extent to which I have overestimated who we are to one another.

I know you think I’m crazy because if you did not, you would have to admit I might be right. If I am, you would be wrong about most of what you believe when it comes to how the world works and your place in it. That horrifies you.

It should not horrify you because there is still time for you to understand.

I will not try to convince you that by coming to terms with the fact that most of what you know is wrong, the world becomes a far better, more open, more honest, and more exciting place, though it unquestionably does.

I want to focus on the fact that if you examine your mind, you’ll discover that you have not once thought about what it would mean if I am right. You know I’m not stupid, or lazy, or uninformed, or malicious, or dishonest, or mean-spirited, or gullible, don’t you? I know you do.

So you tell yourself instead that I am crazy. But you don’t even go that far, because it seems too extreme. Moral clarity frightens you. You convince yourself, ‘he’s not crazy, but he’s crazy about this’, as if that’s even a coherent thought. You think it makes sense because you mistake passion or focus for insanity. Have you never been passionate about something? Have you never been focused on something?

Can you only know you’re not crazy when certain other people agree? Do you understand that my view of these important issues now shares vast majority support? Your view is now the view outside the mainstream. Your view is shared by everyone who stands to continue benefitting from the mass adoption of the belief you hold and virtually no one else.

The number of people continuing to benefit from the world your position has created is decreasing, ever more rapidly. The number of people being harmed by the world your position allows is increasing. As the harm grows, people reach a personal precipice at which they understand it is the worldview itself creating the harm. At this point, they release their hold on the false reality your worldview espouses.

...more..much more...

I did read the entire essay. Sadly, I doubt it will touch the hearts or minds for whom the essay was intended. Yes, I agree. Those he is addressing are the “Good Germans”.

Well, I don’t understand much Latin without reference to translation, but I did get a lot of the references - as far as I read.

What turned me off was the excessive violence, sex and perversion. I didn’t understand why such an erudite man couldn’t have expressed himself differently.

I guess I’m (gladly) just not ‘sophisticated’ enough for that stuff...

When I began lurking on FR - at its inception - there were many very thoughtful, literate people writing brilliant and informative political philosophy here.

I don’t think we lost all of those in the various ‘purges’. We probably lost most to the ‘dumbing-down’.

The point is to wake up from your deep slumber and notice that everything has changed since President Trump came down the escalator in 2015. There are protests all over Europe everyday in mutiple cities. They are fighting against the oppressive puppet rulers that are controlled by the Global/WEF cabal. The same cabal that impeached President Trump twice and ran him out of office. Sometimes you can't tell the public the truth. You must show them. Only then will people find the will to change.

The Q-ists have been dumbing FR down for years.

Jamestown, you are a mental patient. What FR needs is less crazy cat ladies and more sammiches. Get on your J-O-B.

I agree all the way on the violence, perversion and sex in The Name of the Rose. Some say he was lampooning modern fiction which tends to have way too much of that, just for its own sake. I’m not so sure :( — although Eco did like to lampoon pop culture. I don’t recall there being any of that in Foucault’s Pendulum, but I read it so long ago, right after the English translation came out.

I did miss some references in both books, not being as well-read as needed. I sort of regret I had not read Middlemarch before I read Foucault’s Pendulum, as I would have got more of the little jokes. And also the point: “For a price, he [Causabon] will track anything down, but he already seems to know everything, except that he is named for the etiolated scholar of George Eliot’s ‘’Middlemarch,’’ who also knew everything, though it did him no good.” When I read Middle march years later I kept thinking where, yes, of course Eco gave him that name lol.

Amyway, the point is also that one might know all the lore in the Qverse and be adept at “Deltas” (whatever they are — something to do with their weird numerology) but all that does one no good at all. It rather leads you down a rabbit hole.

I guess I’m not sophisticated enough, either. I just found the similarities between the Qverse and Foucault’s Pendulum to be uncanny — right down to “The Plan” featuring bigly in both. And the way both fold in every conspiracy theory ever conceived into one grand metal conspiracy theory. And both started started off as a game that ended up being taken seriously. The parallels really are uncanny. Only the Q tging is even more bizarre. I guess sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction!

BTW, I’m not defending Eco at all, nor am I a particular fan. Sir Roger Scruton had a few things to say about him, too, not compliments, either.

It was great for scientists to communicate — they have rational thoughts.

This, in the age of Fauci, CDC, Pfizer, the fake poison covid vax, transgenderism, global warming, etc.

Are you sure you're not stupid, bobbo?

Middlemarch was on my list decades ago, but I never got ‘round to it. You pique my memory and interest.

It’s from a Q blogger, so of course it’s incoherent rambling and gobbledygook. The person who posted it is a Q follower.

And the person that person is talking to is you, just another pseudo intellectual fraud horrified that everything she has been taught to believe about the world is wrong. I'm here to tell ya, cat lady. It is.

I'd be scared of Q too if my life was built on a foundation of deep state lies.

Well that explains it. When you don’t really have anything of value to say, you’re got to fill up your word-quota with something.

When you dopes dismissively block off rational thought, your brain atrophies and you say stupid things like you say. There is a cure, and his name is Q.

Mark twain was witty and funny. He and the others wrote truly intelligible and enlightening things.

Don't tell me. You took tea and crumpets with him on a river boat down the Mississip upon a time.

The Q thing is like a black hole sucking in every conspiracy theory there is or ever has been.

Actually its not, cat lady. The 'Q thing' is ONLY about the information that Q posted on. Nothing more. Anything else is put up by whack jobs and cherry picked by morons like you to keep people from looking at the real Q information. You do excellent work for the enemy.

Do you figure that sane folks should just shut up and quietly let Free Republic become Qtard central?

I'm sorry sir, but you do not qualify as a 'sane person'. Please exit the lobby peaceably.

The hard truth.

The sleepers will not appreciate it. They don't even know they're asleep. Its the nature of the matrix.
