Disagree.....People lie to polls all the time.

Polls are run by folks who want the outcome they want.

Polls are BS

Again, you seem locked onto the validity of the polls which is not what this thread was started on.. it was a question of why no polls.

No polling for a governors race in over 4 weeks, less than 3.5 weeks to election... that’s just weird, period.

Arguing validity or invalidity of the polls has nothing to do with the above observation

I could care less....Like I said, I’ve not been polled in many years...I don’t care if there’s more polls or less polls.

Glad you love your batsh*t leftist Kansas governor. Perhaps you deserve her.

Sad. Growing up it was very conservative. Great place to live, both Overland Park and Leawood.

“Glad you love your batsh*t leftist Kansas governor. Perhaps you deserve her.”

What nonsense are you spewing here, pointing out the failures of Brownback does not make me a proponent of Kelly.

You are diving way down the rabbit hole of insanity.

Like it or not, there are bad people with R’s beside their names, Brownback showed himself to be a bad executive, he made a huge mistake even as the evidence mounted about how wrong his policies were, he just kept doubling down on them.

If you are unwilling to vote out a bad politician because of the Party Affiliation, you are a part of the problem with politics today. Having the party beside their name that you agree with does not mean they are free from criticism or failure, and if you are unwilling to punish failure as long as the letter next to their name is right, you are contributing to the problem.

So, what made Brownback a “bad politician” is a single policy decision? Isn’t a governor more than a single policy decision? Is every other decision he made just as bad?

A single policy decision? Wow, you are living in denial or have dementia.

He pushed a policy, it didn’t work… when it was clear it wasn’t working, what did he do? Kept advocating for it… so much so that his own party voted to remove it and he once more refused to admit failure and vetoed there revocation to which they overrode it.

He didn’t just make 1 bad policy decision, he refused to admit his mistake and learn from it, even though given repeated opportunity to do so..

That’s abject failure of a leader by any definition.

Anyone can make a mistake.. refusing to recognize and learn from it…that’s absolute failure by any definition of leadership.

Brownback wasn't alone. Much of the TEA Party movement backed the "Kansas Experiment." So did many conservative economists.

What did Brownback DO that was conservative?
- In 2013 Brownback turned down a $31.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to set up a public health insurance exchange for Kansas, in repudiation of Obamacare.
- Also in 2013, he signed a bill that blocked tax breaks for abortion providers, banned sex-selection abortions, and declared that life begins at fertilization.
- He is against homosexual "marriage" and a supporter of Intelligent Design.
- He opposes gun control.

Can you be against any of that?

I was thinking taxes would not be too bad if you’re retired?
Texas doesn’t have income tax, but property tax is ridiculous.

Personal property tax is highest in the nation. Property tax is bad enough.
