Russian OWNS the air space has conclusively proven Ukraine's air defense is non-existent this week. You can't win a war or take back lost territory if the other side can bomb you to kingdom come.
Donald Trump knows that and that is why he wants to spare more Ukrainian lives and keep it from losing more territory by negotiating an end to the war.
If you have a problem with Trump, lay down on the tracks so the Trump Train can run you and your fellow neocons over.
Okay if you are such an expert answer 2 questions:
1) Why have Russians in six months failed to take Kramatorsk in Donetsk
2) Do you expect Russia to take this town in 2022?
Russia has determinedly NOT owned the airspace.
They failed in the first few days and now have lost the airspace.
Your country is too corrupt to ein wars, even against Ukraine
Russia had a massive advantage in military equipment at the start. Holding all the advantages, Russia should have captured the entire country in 5 days. Russia expected to win within 5 days, and Western analysts generally agreed, believing Russia would wrap up Ukraine within 1-2 weeks.
Ukraine lasted and lasts for 220 days , wiping out Russia’s best troops at Hostomel and nearly wiping them out to the last man. That’s before substantial Western weapons arrived, and it only got worse from there
Russia lost over 100 supply dumps, weapons depots, and command posts from HIMARS strikes in the space of about a month.
With Russia’s equipment advantage starting the war, Russia’s forces performing nominally, within expected parameters, to put it plainly “doing average” would have amounted to capturing Kyiv within 5 days. We are nearly 8 months into the war and Russia doesn’t have Kyiv. It is losing Luhansk, losing Kherson, and it already lost the Kharkhiv oblast. Only a delusional fool would call that, “Russia doing well.”
