Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

- Kherson bridgehead:
Failed large attack by Ukrainian troops in Pyatyhatky-Sukhanove area.

———————————————————————————————————————
••There is not much is going on.

First, Ukraine is getting even more advanced artillery systems, and by that I mean self-propelled howitzers with the length of the barrel 52 caliber - that is the length of the barrel. Susana 2 is from Slovakia. Ukraine is going to get 12 or 16 of them. Ukraine gonna get 12 more Caesars from France - those Caesars were made for Denmark, but because of the war, apparently, Denmark agreed that those 12 units will be transferred to Ukraine.

Ukraine certainly has a total advantage in this advanced artillery systems over the Russian artillery, and if its being used skillfully, correctly, and everything, this guarantees destruction of any Russian offensive, and creates the ability to penetrate Russian defenses anywhere, and successfully do offensive.

The problem is they still have no equivalent of the Russian Orlan-10. For those who are new, just look at the video for July 3, 2022. Orlan-10, which is excellent Russian reconnaissance and correction system for artillery units, works perfectly with those artillery units. I will make sure that I make a separate video on this topic, then you could have it as a reference. Ukraine totally exceeds Russian forces in this advanced artillery systems, which means that the initiative is in Ukrainian hands again.

There is still problem within the country, and I mentioned many times, its completely unprofessional and inept political leadership in Ukraine that prevents entrepreneurs in the military space from being able to start businesses in this area. Any development is prohibited by private investors; it has to go through the government, and as long as it goes to the government, its absolute complete corruption, red tape, and nothing is being done. The money is stolen; the political problem is turning into a problem on the battlefield.

Russians/Belarus side and and all that. Tomorrow there should be a National Security Council in Russia was headed by Putin. We’ll find out what they’re gonna decide, what decisions they’re gonna make. Apparently, there will be more changes in the Russian leadership on the battlefield. I mentioned yesterday about Sergey Surovikin, who is a new leader on the on the battlefield. From what people say, he’s received total Carte Blanche to do whatever he wants, whatever he needs to achieve success. The situation for him personally is either you succeed or you’re gonna die, there’s no middle for him personally. That’s pretty strong incentive.

Then related to the Crimean Bridge, which was attacked probably by Ukrainian forces; we don’t have any specific information, but that’s most likely. There is apparently the among the Crimean civilian population it starts to sink in, that this is turning into a battlefield pretty soon. People are fleeing Crimea in droves; there is a huge traffic jam from Crimea to Russia on that still functioning half of the Crimean Bridge. There are reports that the length of this traffic jam is up to 10 kilometers; whoever can flee are trying to get out of Crimea.

Belarus’ president who is in the pocket of Russia, and its just one country with two faces. Belarus president said that Ukraine preparing to attack Belarus, which is not true, because Ukrainian forces are focused on succeeding on this Southern and Eastern front lines.

But that’s jaw boning that’s saying, Ukrainian force is probably gonna attack Belarus soon. The point is to induce stress on Ukrainian side on among Ukrainian political leadership, and maybe military leadership about some attacking forces from Belarus. The point of that is to keep some of the Ukrainian forces on the Belarus border, because you are never safe, you are never secure.

That there could be another incursion from Belarus, whether its going to be just Belarus forces or Russian forces or joint or Russian forces disguised as Belarus forces, nobody knows. That’s creating a situation.

••T-72 Transfer:
There are reports that Belarus is transferring significant amount of its own stockpiled military equipment to Russia, specifically tanks T-72s. There was a huge train of T-72s heading from Belarus storage facilities to Russia. It looks like Russia does not have enough readily available T-72s in large numbers.

Russia has a huge stockpile, but that stockpile was rotting under the sun and rain for probably 20-25 years. It takes time, even though there’s a huge number of those machines, you cannot make them battle ready in a week, they probably will take 2-3 months to make them battle ready, and not all of them.

This is not a readily available resource. Its not like Russia does not have military equipment, but storage has always been a problem in the Soviet Army; Russia, Ukraine and Belarus are its children.

Belarus is on the better side, for whatever reason - I don’t have a perfect explanation, but they’ve always been on the better the side, more organizable, clean - that’s why they are donating those resources.

••Monetary Donation:
In return Belarus received a loan, technically its called loan, of US$1.5 billion from Russia. They always get those votes from Russia they leave of those loans and of Russian crude oil used to, now they don’t have that ability to process Russian crude oil. They’re getting loans directly from Russia; they never paid them back, so this is just transfer because its one state, but its disguised as a launcher the transfer of the money is disguised as loans.

Another important topic in the world this time is on the West is definitely getting very, very scared of the potential escalation to nuclear war. The tweets of Elon Musk shows he is absolutely terrified. Unfortunately, this is type of leadership we see in the West , and Elon Musk would be first to sell out the West to China - no problem.

The same for Ray Dalio (Edit: billionaire investor and hedge fund manager) who is a so-called leader, but most of the leadership, unfortunately in the West, they are ready to sell out the West itself to whoever is a stronger or the highest bidder. Unfortunately, there is definite degeneration of the leadership in the West. Luckily he’s not going to decide the fate of Ukrainians and Fate is what is going on the battlefield, because its in the hands of all Ukrainian people and Ukrainian society; its not even the Ukrainian leadership, because that leadership is a big part of the problem.

••Northern State Border:
It is getting somewhat more heated, somewhat more elevated, Russian side reporting artillery strikes from Ukraine and Ukraine reports it is safe from Russia.

••North Luhansk’
Things are more or less stable. Ukrainian site clearly lost momentum. Russian troops are digging in; its going to be again a pretty bloody attempt to dislodge Russian defenses at this point that’s very clear, and even Russian troops are counter-attacking for the second day: the objective is to split Ukrainian forces into two pieces, and then they can destroy the first piece and then clean up the the rest.

This is the first object of the Russian troops, if they want to defend here, is to clear up this area between the two rivers. They still are not strong enough in numbers, but nevertheless, initial shock and panic is gone. Things are going to get somewhat more difficult for the Ukrainian side in the coming days.

••North Donbas:
Things here are all the same: Wagner mercenaries continuing attacks non-stop pretty aggressively; they are probably the best infantry, because they are not part of the State. There is no bureaucracy, and its really just common sense, and common sense always better than bureaucracy, always prevails. Ukrainian soldiers are motivated on the individual level, however bureaucracy is tying up the initiative and creating a huge problem, a huge disadvantage.; its like a big stone tied to your leg, and you cannot move because of it. There were reports that Russian troops managed to capture Vesela Dolyna and that is confirmed, they they did capture this territory.

The front line more or less goes straight now, and Wagner mercenaries continue aggressively trying to advance - they managed to create a salient yesterday. Again this poses problems for Ukrainian defenses here. It does look more and more that the Bakhmut is going to be semi and circled. The next step is to create a salient to the south which creates a very difficult defensive position for Ukrainian troops. Its not a problem, as long as Ukrainian troops are attacking up north, because then this whole front line would actually collapse: that would be solution to this problem, but unfortunately, up north Ukrainian troops lost their initiative. Whenever they will try to renew large-scale offensive, its definitely going to be difficult, but the meanwhile, Russian troops are advancing here.

••Central Donbas:
Things here are more or less the same: Russian troops are attacking out of the Pisky salient; they are continuing to advance 50 meters every day or 60 up to 100 meters every day. There is a village that’s next to Pisky; it looks like they managed to get to about half of that village. It doesn’t look like Ukrainian side has enough strong units to really be able to attack from the flanks.

••Kherson Bridge:
Ukrainian troops actually first day, they tried to attack in large groups and strong groups was up to to 10 tanks between 10 to 20 IFVs and and they failed. The problem is this was enough time for the Russian troops to really dig in and create strong defensive positions, just because this is the most obvious direction access of attack. They dug in, they put all of the artillery that they still have, whatever the ammunition they have. Ukrainian troops are hitting the strongest defensive positions of the Russian troops and that creates problems with heavy losses, unnecessary losses.

The Ukrainian troops are missing the knowledge of offensives; they’re not staying on top of the retreating enemy, they slowly move behind, and that allows Russian troops to quickly rebuild defenses.

At this point, its going to be super hard to break through, because its not the complete wall, but its pretty strong wall. The attacks should be shifted somewhere else, maybe along the Inhalets River.

There are in north east many small ridges flooded with with water that creates natural protective barriers for Russian troops. Ukrainian troops are left with a very short section of the front line, about 10 to 15 kilometer,s where they can attack; its not hard for the Russian command and troops to figure out where the attacks are going to happen. Today there was a major Ukrainian attack which failed.

Russia, Having 'Run Out Of Missiles', Launches Barrage On Ukraine

Back in March I had warned that Lies Do Not Win Wars. Here is another practical example.

After allegedly having 'run out of missiles' and, more importantly, patience, the leadership of the Russian Federation decided to de-electrify Ukrainian cities with a 'barrage of missile strikes'.

But first came the propaganda blubber:

'We Haven't Started Yet,' Putin Says in Hawkish Speech on Ukraine Invasion - Haaretz - Jul 7, 2022

President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia had barely got started in Ukraine and dared the West to try to defeat it on the battlefield, while insisting that Moscow was still open to the idea of peace talks.

...

"Today we hear that they want to defeat us on the battlefield. What can you say, let them try," he said. "We have heard many times that the West wants to fight us to the last Ukrainian. This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, but it seems that everything is heading towards this."

... "Everyone should know that, by and large, we haven't started anything yet in earnest," he added. "At the same time, we don't reject peace talks. But those who reject them should know that the further it goes, the harder it will be for them to negotiate with us."

Cities throughout Ukraine, including Kyiv, are bombarded after Putin slams Ukraine over Crimea bridge blast

KYIV, Ukraine—Russia carried out waves of strikes on several Ukrainian cities including the capital in the broadest and most intense onslaught since the start of the invasion, after President Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of a “terrorist attack” on a critical bridge connecting Russia’s mainland to the occupied Crimean Peninsula.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had carried out dozens of strikes using missiles as well as Iranian-made drones to target civilian and power infrastructure. “They want panic and chaos,” he said. “They want to destroy our energy system.”

Ukraine "under missile attack" as explosions rock Kyiv and other cities - CBSNews - Oct 10, 2022

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the president's office, said on social media Monday that, "Ukraine is under missile attack. There is information about strikes in many cities of our country."

General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said on Twitter that Russia had launched 75 missiles at Ukraine but that "41 of them were neutralized by our air defence."

Zelenskyy later emerged onto a street in Kyiv to record a selfie video with a message to his people and the world, denouncing Russia for the barrage of missiles which he said had targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and its civilians.

Kiev, Lviv, Karkov, Dnipropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog all report damage to their electricity infrastructure.

If u r talking about Tomahawk or Harpoon type cruise missiles u r likely correct, but Russia has scads of Cold War junk that might not be battlefield effective but aimed at a stationary target like a city will cause significant damage and casualties. And Putin will care where they hit no more than Hitler worried where his V weapons landed as long as it was somewhere in London. Is Zelensky ready to deal with this kind of war.

Better brush up on your Mandarin, Skippy.
