Giorgia Meloni and The Brothers of Italy went from just 4% of the vote just 4 years ago, to 27% of the vote on Sunday (the biggest share of the vote).
The bullies of Brussels brazenly tried to intimidate Italians with threats of “tools” they can use against Italy if Italians voted they way they wanted. Naturally, the threats backfired when Italian voters gave the EU the middle finger and voted solidly conservative.
This comes just 2 weeks after Sweden went solidly conswevative in their own elections.

If the head “yoops” are upset (read furious!) that “someone like her” won, you know she is clearly over target. Good for her. Now Italy can be on the “eu” 💩 list with Hungary and Poland. Badge of honor!

At this juncture, I don't see a downside to the Meloni win. They have work to do but have some popular momentum behind them.
Maybe Le Pen can gain traction while the Franco-German empire freezes in the dark, this winter.
Its a landslide for the right wing coalition that will govern, of which "The Brothers of Italy" is just one party.
Let me be the first to accuse her of being a mean twat.
