Once you get out of her immediate backyard in NYC, she is a very unpopular figure (along with ones like Omar or Rashid or others of their ilk). But the kind of dreamworld that the 24/7 INGSOC media creates, the idea of her running for President seems at least that plausible.

That was my first thought, as well. I think she has VERY high negatives. Beyond her cadre of worshippers, the rest can’t stand her.

I took a look at her record in Congress since she was elected in 2018. She’s sponsored more than 50 bills in the House. Almost all of them never even made it out of committee. ONE of her bills passed in the House — before it died in the Senate when the 2019-20 session of Congress ended.
AOC is a lightweight even among a bucket full of inept lightweights from heavily Democratic districts in Congress.
