The idea that some paper-pushing bureaucrat, with classification authority delegated BY THE PRESIDENT, needs to approve of declassification is absurd.

Trump and his lawyers should immediately file for the FBI to return all documents and items taken from his home. The warrant was looking for classified material ant there was none at the residence. The FBI should be enjoined from even viewing Trump’s private papers.

I think that can happen, but notifications have to be sent out to those holding the formerly declassified documents that they are now classified and must be either returned or handled appropriately. It can’t legally be done in secret, the onus to notify the affected parties is on the classifying authority.
