“Blatantly Unconstitutional” – Soros-Backed Florida Prosecutor: Governor DeSantis “Does Not Have the Authority to Suspend Me” (VIDEO)

Governor Ron DeSantis this week suspended Soros-backed Florida prosecutor Andrew Warren.

DeSantis suspended the state attorney because he refused to enforce Florida’s abortion laws.

"Warren said that it doesn’t matter what the legislature does in the state of Florida. He is going to exercise a veto over that. He’s also instituted policies of ‘presumptive non-enforcement’…that is not consistent with the role of a prosecutor. You can exercise discretion in individual case, but that discretion has to be individualized and case specific,” DeSantis said as he announced Warren’s suspension.

Andrew Warren ran to the lefty media to complain about DeSantis’ decision to suspend him, calling the move “blatantly unconstitutional.”

"[DeSantis] does not have the authority to suspend me … the people elected me to serve in this position and I am going to continue doing it,” Warren said on CBS News on Friday.

It would be amusing if the prosecutor placed into his old position were to prosecute this miscreant and make him serve a bit of time for his jackassery...lol

I wouldn’t worry about too much. My supergovernor was a Yale grad and a Navy JAG. My money says he knows the law better than this jackass.

Why do these moneters run to Federal and State Constitutions when they routinely ignore them?

Show up for any job anywhere and tell your employer how you are going to the job and that you won’t do job the job description says needs to be done and see how fast you are escorted out.

The legislature tells the prosecutor what laws he must uphold. The prosecutor does not get to pick and choose which laws he will uphold. That is above his pay grade.

This should be done across the country to root out these bad prosecutors. Start with the one in Napa County, CA who is doing everything to not prosecute Pelosi for the DUI with injury crime.

Let’s get this straight...a prosecutor refuses to do his job and he can’t be let go for that ?

I was kind of wondering about that and thinking if it’s that easy, why wouldn’t every red state governor simply fire soros DAs? If it’s an elected position, it really should only the voters who can get rid of them.

Some states, I don’t know which, rather than have a state constitution that provides for impeachment procedures, gives the governor recall authority over elected officials. De Santis is no fool and doubt very much that he would take any action that his Supreme Court would reverse.

Soros should be held financially accountable for his support of AG’s who refuse to follow the law and allow criminals to maim, severely injure or kill citizens because they want to change criminal society at the expense of American Culture. By his own admission, he is trying to change Society. Soros should be forced to pay for the medical and emotional expenses victims go through as the result of criminals allowed back out on the streets without incarceration or bail. Many victims of criminal attacks have horrendous medical bills and loss of income. Soros is solely responsible for funding these people because he has a stated goal to change our culture. He must pay and be held accountable. This is similar to an Engineer who builds a bridge that he knows will collapse and injure people because he wants to change the area it is in or change the course of a river. People are injured and/or killed with bills to pay just because one person’s personal goal.

That’s why DeSantis suspended him instead of firing him.

If it’s an elected position, this Loony Leftist may be right.

In that case, the people of FL need to recall him.

Disney got cute; Governor DeSantis got rid of their personal Reedy Creek machine that printed money.

The bar in Miami thought it was good idea to bring in bunch of children for a grooming session. Governor DeSantis questioned their liquor license and the bar owner is saying “there has been a misunderstanding.”

Textbook companies thought it was a good idea to push anti-American ideas in Florida. Thanks to Governor DeSantis these companies are having to dump their books elsewhere - probably Red China.

And now a big-town prosecutor has lost his office. He got on television and said he knew better than anyone why crimes should not be punished; Governor DeSantis had a sheriff's deputy walk him outside the building.

Perhaps the prosecutor can go to Florida's most conservative Supreme Court ever and get some relief; or to Florida's super-majority Republican legislature and have them pressure the Governor to give him back his job.

Every Florida liberal in public office needs to make sure they are doing their job correctly.

I think DeSantis has a good case for abuse of authority, perversion of the law under color of justice, and probably perjury and criminal contempt for hiding evidence from judges regarding the seriousness of crimes committed.

I hope the DA is prosecuted and jailed.

Every liberal in public office is engaged in a criminal conspiracy against their states and the United States and should be treated accordingly.
