Popular podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan isn’t interested in interviewing former President Donald Trump.
“The Joe Rogan Experience” has been one of the most popular podcasts in the world for many years.
But Rogan doesn’t have any interest in having Trump on the podcast.
“I am not a Trump supporter, in any way, shape, or form. I have had the opportunity to have him on my show, more than once, and I have said no every time…I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him,” Rogan said.
Rogan’s comments aren’t quite as bad as some may think.
For starters, his podcast is typically about 3-hours long and there’s not usually a set script.
Rogan’s entire brand is bringing on different, strange, and interesting characters for in-depth conversations about anything and everything.
One could argue that bringing on Trump, who is now a political figure in many aspects, could open the floodgates to him having to entertain other politicians wanting to appear on the show.
Another issue could be Spotify, which owns the rights to Rogan’s podcast now.
Spotify CEO Daniel Ek defended Rogan last year when liberals demanded Rogan be fired after a video compilation surfaced of him repeatedly using the “n-word.”
In a statement released late on Sunday, Ek said the company would stand by Rogan after he apologized.
“While I strongly condemn what Joe has said and I agree with his decision to remove past episodes from our platform, I realize some will want more. And I want to make one point very clear – I do not believe that silencing Joe is the answer,” Ek said. “We should have clear lines around content and take action when they are crossed, but canceling voices is a slippery slope. Looking at the issue more broadly, it’s critical thinking and open debate that powers real and necessary progress.”
Rogan apologized over the weekend after a video was posted online showing him using racial slurs.
Rogan issued a lengthy apology video, arguing that even though he was taken out of context and was quoting other people, he still regretted using the n-word.
Last year, Rogan also said he would prefer to vote for Trump rather than Joe Biden.
Speaking with Thiel Capital managing director Eric Weinstein, Rogan didn’t mince words when the topic turned to politics.
“This is the real issue with the Democratic Party,” Rogan said. “They’ve essentially made us all morons with this Joe Biden thing.”
“Can you imagine?” asked Weinstein.
“I can’t vote for that guy,” said Rogan.
“I can’t vote for him, I can’t vote for Trump,” Weinstein said.
“I’d rather vote for Trump than [Biden],” said the podcast host. “I don’t think he can handle anything. You’re relying entirely on his cabinet. If you want to talk about an individual leader who can communicate, he can’t do that. And we don’t know what the fuck he’ll be like after a year in office.”
Rogan contended that, unlike former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who both visibly aged in office, Trump “seems to be fine” with the “pressure of being president.”
The actor and podcast host, a supporter of Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, has been a vocal critic of Biden before. Last week, Rogan remarked on Biden’s many public gaffes and moments of forgetfulness by contending that Trump will “eat him alive.”
“He’s gonna eat that guy alive,” Rogan said. “The guy can barely remember what he’s talking about while he’s talking. Every video of him recently talking, he’s stumbling through shit, he forgets what he’s talking about.”

Worthless.
Dude smokes way too much weed.
Stuff it, Joe - you are not as smart as you believe.
Weed and ‘roids.
Rogan supported Bernie Sanders? Geez... surely he’s smarter than that. His podcasts are actually quite good.
I never understood the fascination of him. I tried watching a couple of his shows but couldn’t finish.
I tried to listen to him once and found him boring and long winded. Or is it long winded and boring. Either way he is boring. How he convinced Spotify that he was worth millions is probably one of the greatest con jobs in history.
He abruptly deleted various episodes off Spotify including both Alex Jones appearances. You can find some the missing shows in audio format online or what’s left behind on YouTube. JRE Missing has every erased episode. He bowed down to pressure. He had Tulsi on before but I think now he is refusing to have politicians on. He admitted to being far left before but now questions the left but sill endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2020.
That said I have listened to him as he has had both comedians, boxers, ufc people and other interesting people on. But quit over his erasing of episodes.

because Spotify ordered him to. I’m actually trying to look for that interview.
Uh, I thought he already had politicians on and famously announced his support for Bernie Sanders on his show.
Rohan’s got no worries on equal time. Podcasts aren’t subject to such rules.
“I tried to listen to him once and found him boring and long winded. “
It’s not that. His plus side is he’s relaxed or most often, ‘winging it” and couldn’t follow up thoroughly. Amateur hour glorified. This clown has a fanbase?
He was interviewing Annie Jacobsen who wrote books on Operation Paper Clip and he didnt ask the really impt. questions AND kept hanging around the non relevant questions.
Now Rogan supports Ron Desantis

Rogan is not one of us. He has occasional moments but he stil takes the blue pill most days.
Fake socialist with a $200M contract. Same as Howard Stern and a thousand other celebrities. Well, not really fake. It's just that they fancy themselves the elites so they figure they will be the politburo that gets to keep the wealth and privilege while they guide the rest of us to productive jobs they they select for us in the mines or factories.
Last line is epic
That's clear...
Never heard him, not a single word. It looks like I made the right choice
