Hm, if I ever get mugged, I’ll demand that the mugger hand me his gun before I hand him my money.

It’s amazing how many things I would have thought totally ridiculous back in the 20th century are now the “conventional wisdom.”

Don’t quite see an issue with making sure your own people are fed first.

We have zero national interest in Ukraine

Ever heard of the 'domino theory'?

We have an interest everywhere that a hostile country tries to take over another country.

Even if we had no direct interest in Ukraine, all kinds of hostile countries (otherwise known as enemies of ours) have 100% interest in destroying the U.S., and they'd be well on the way of doing that if we allowed them to have their way in other parts of the world. "Nearsightedness" is no way to go about making foreign policy.

The US could of course remove all of its troops from the DMZ and allow the Koreans to reunify.

The instant the South Korean people vote for government that asks us to leave, we will leave. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Russians occupying Ukraine.

“staples that are crucial for global food supplies”

Gee, if Ukraine’s food is so crucial for the rest of the world, then perhaps the rest of the world should have considered that before reneging on Ukraine’s security guarantees.

The Chinese are using the Russians as their guinea pig to see how the rest of the world responds to an invasion of another country. If the US and the rest of the world acquiesces to the Russian invasion, Chinese military aggression in the Pacific is likely to follow.

If we want to deter a war with the Chinese, we must show them that we are willing to resist. And the best way to do that right now is by resisting Russia.

Of course, there is a certain group around here who believes that Russia and China are actually the good guys, and are going to save us from the evil machinations of Klaus Schwab and his buddies. So they actually root for Russia/China to win, and for us to lose.

The sources for this article are TASS, oneweorld.press, en.kremlin.ru. and russiaun.ru, Izvestia via the dailysabah.com, and rt.com. Six Russian sites, not one from Ukraine.

They best they can do is criticize Ukraine for wanting to protect their trade. That is not blackmail, that is common sense.

I’m sure Russia will be happy to step up to fill the slack.

America will continue to have shortages, but at least China will have wheat.

You’re just pissing us off.

When you say "us", who are you talking about? Demented Joe? The Nazis from the Azov Regiment? Trudeau and his Cuban relatives? Who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who?

This Duran analysis definitely worth watching. Things have certainly made an abrupt wind change due to developing Putin/Erdogan partnership.

Turkey is expected to kill Finland and Sweden NATO membership. Deals done for Turkey to provide consumer goods for Russia, handle Russian gas distribution (India handles Russian oil distribution) and now Russia and Turkey will handle grain distribution from Ukraine. Expected Putin/Erdogan summit.

Turkey and Russia are also interacting their financial arrangements (credit cards, currencies) which are likely to strengthen Turkey’s lira and lessen Turkey’s inflation concerns.

“Bolton” (I assume they mean John Bolton) heads a group attempting to create Turkey “regime change.” Things look bad for the west if he isn’t able to make that happen soon...small time window left.

“kill Finland and Sweden NATO membership.”

I hope so. Those two should enjoine Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia.

Build up their own military since the Swedes have some pretty good military stuff and forget about all the drama that is NATO. We have already supplied the Poles with some good military hardware.

They can study that conflict in the Ukraine and plan accordingly.

Then quit the floppy paws that are the EU and go tell them to stuff it.

Zubu is a Russian disinformation front. Reading their website is more of a waste of time than watching CNN.

Watch Pakistan. And Sri Lanka.

Pakistan has over a hundred nuclear warheads and I have read (somewhere) that a couple are missing.
