Ever heard of the 'domino theory'?

We have an interest everywhere that a hostile country tries to take over another country.

Even if we had no direct interest in Ukraine, all kinds of hostile countries (otherwise known as enemies of ours) have 100% interest in destroying the U.S., and they'd be well on the way of doing that if we allowed them to have their way in other parts of the world. "Nearsightedness" is no way to go about making foreign policy.

The Chinese are using the Russians as their guinea pig to see how the rest of the world responds to an invasion of another country. If the US and the rest of the world acquiesces to the Russian invasion, Chinese military aggression in the Pacific is likely to follow.

If we want to deter a war with the Chinese, we must show them that we are willing to resist. And the best way to do that right now is by resisting Russia.

Of course, there is a certain group around here who believes that Russia and China are actually the good guys, and are going to save us from the evil machinations of Klaus Schwab and his buddies. So they actually root for Russia/China to win, and for us to lose.

Domino theory? Yeah, you have been duped by neo-cons with their out dated cold war arguments. According to your domino theory, we have an interest just because of war. This is your argument: where's there's a war, there's national interest because they might eventually attack us. So let's get involved so they can attack us.

Your domino theory means we need to be the world's policeman. We need to fight endless wars, because there is nearly always some hostile country trying to take over another. And after those wars, we need to rebuild countries because the next war monger military-industrial establishment argument is we have a responsibility to fix what we broke. Somehow they manage do all that without winning wars.

This is Europe's problem and they are not doing a damn thing other than allow mass migration to their own detriment. If they don't care, why should I care? You haven't convinced me one bit to give a damn about Ukraine.

I won't even go into your "farsightedness" that has a way of killing and crippling tens of thousands of our servicemen. That is what happens when you put faith into our current set of politicians and our woke generals. Not a single one of them knows how to win a war, even a war when we are directly attacked.

In "nearsightedness" I give a damn about the invasion on our southern border. I give a damn about our economy. I give about our soldier's lives and families. If you love war so much, then why don't you personally go and fight it. Risk your life and limbs. Use your money while you are at it. But I doubt you love war so much. The people who make these 'domino theory' arguments are scared little pussies. They don't put themselves into harm's way, they needlessly put others into harm's way using other people's money - not their own.
