Monkeypox: That unasked question

Scientists, it seems, are baffled by the unexplained appearance of the smallpox-like illness associated with rodents called "monkeypox" in the West which brings unsightly sores to the skin of those who are afflicted with it.

Long a disease seen mostly in parts of tropical Africa, it has now made appearances in the U.S. continental Europe, Canada, and the U.K., all at approximately the same time.

According to the Associated Press:

BLONDON (AP) — As more cases of monkeypox are detected in Europe and North America, some scientists who have monitored numerous outbreaks in Africa say they are baffled by the unusual disease's spread in the West.

Cases of the smallpox-related disease haven’t previously been seen among people with no links to central and West Africa. But in the past week, Britain, Spain, Portugal, Italy, U.S., Sweden and Canada all reported infections, mostly in young men who hadn’t previously traveled to Africa.

France, Germany, Belgium and Australia confirmed their first cases of monkeypox on Friday.

“I’m stunned by this. Every day I wake up and there are more countries infected,” said Oyewale Tomori, a virologist who formerly headed the Nigerian Academy of Science and who sits on several World Health Organization advisory boards.

“This is not the kind of spread we’ve seen in West Africa, so there may be something new happening in the West,” he said.

Viruses and bacterias, of course, can mutate, which could explain the sudden rate of the spread.

But the unasked question in all of the stories cited is how the disease got here to start with.

Good catch, I remember that story.

Probably a Bill Gates financed monkey lab.

"mostly in young men who hadn't previously traveled to Africa."

It's da puffers.. Those who have an itch in all the wrong places...

Butt, it's OK, the life expectancy of those folks is the early to mid 40's anyway....

It sure is an ugly way to go.. :(

We were stationed at Fort Riley, KS when all 3 of our kids came down with small box. I expected to get them next, since I don't recall ever to had them. In Germany they are called Guertel Rose and my mother always said if they connect the person who has them can die. She never showed them to us, so I had no idea what it looked like.

Several years ago in the Gold Clinic at the Blanch field Army hospital forced me to get the shot, which turned out that I did get the disease. They had to give me medicine to get rid of the itching. You can imagine I was at the stupid doctor

Africa has travelled to the west via an invasion of illegal immigration.

Are the afflicted gays recipients of an orthopoxvirus vectored CoupFlu vaccine?

And what is their HIV status?

Two questions left unasked and unanswered in every article I have looked at.

And inquiring minds want to know the answers to those.

I don’t disagree with any of that. If it had happened 10 years ago out of the clear blue, I would be there 100%. Wouldn’t even be commenting on it.

I guess at this point (for me at least) happenstance and coincidence have come and gone.

This seemingly never ending stream of calamity (it’s something new every week) is clearly direct enemy action.

In these cases, not illegal immigration but sex tourists bringing it back to their home countries. This article is so ignorant.

OH WAIT, I forgot who you were and thought you were someone else.

Yeah, so I was wondering what the spin was gonna be, took you guys couple days to come up with it.

So this is the spin:
1. Monkey Pox has been a concern for a long time
2. The Gov wargames these things all the time
3. Don’t mention the scenario timing coincidence

Got it. We’ll see if it flies! It might, you never know.

There hasn’t been a case of Smallpox recorded in the US since 1949. There hasn’t been transmission of Smallpox in the US since 1947. Some people get serious reactions to the old live Vaccinia inoculations. It is also possible for a person vaccinated against Smallpox to transit Vaccinia if the inoculation is not properly covered. This happened to my maternal grandmother when she got exposed to Vaccinia from her brother when she was a toddler.

The never-ending stream is coming from The Daily Expose, NOQ Report, and Steve Kitsch articles posted often here by Q followers. Now one of their heroes has written something sensible. Wonder if they’ll listen to him?

Those who want to believe this is a bioweapon will probably persist in that belief until the next scary story comes along, I guess. Or when it fizzles out without turning into an epidemic or lockdown.

Again, if this outbreak is from bioweapon, it sure is a dud. No spread beyond those in certain “sexual networks”. We *might* see cases in hotel workers who handled the soiled linens of these sex tourists without gloves, perhaps household members. It doesn’t look like makings of major epidemic.

Remember when some Freepers were all agog about this NOQ Report story “Exclusive: Dr. Li-Meng Yan Reveals CCP Plans to Spread Hemorrhagic Fever Bioweapon Via Olympics, and She Shares the Cure”

Didn’t happen. So they moved on to to the next scary conspiracy theory. Now it’s monkeypox. Not long ago it was King Cobra venom/nano razor blades/graphene oxide/nano bots/itty bitty wiggle worms/tiny mechanical octopuses in the Covid vaccines. I’m still trying to figure out how they fit all that in the vaccines if they’re 99% graphene oxide as claimed.

The most likely explanation...

“But it seems just as plausible that it may have been the byproduct of mass immigration from unvetted illegals who are rolling into the U.S. by the hundreds of thousands — from 157 countries, with tropical Africa prominent among them. Europe, too, has allowed its borders to go effectively open, accepting everyone as either a “refugee” or “asylum seeker” and that includes post-Brexit U.K. Surprise, surprise — they too have somehow found themselves with monkeypox.”

I bet places that don’t have open borders don’t have any cases.

Heh heh. An oldie but a goodie, the ‘ol conspiracy theory trope. Sorry, that one is used up. It just doesn’t pack the punch it used to.

Here’s what I mean by calamities:

1. Supply chain issues. You can see the pics of the ships.
2. Insane immigration. We can see the pics,
3. Baby food shortage. We can go to the store and see the empty shelves.
4. Rona. We can see that it wasn’t that bad. I know not one person that died. I work in a large company.
5. Inflation. I notice when I buy bacon.
6. Monkey Pox. Dummies left the plan sitting on the table for me to read.

And I can go on and on. So maybe conspiracy, but certainly not theory. Don’t bother deepstate’splaining all those events, I already heard it all and I ain’t buying what they’re selling.

I’ll give you 1 through 5. All real. All from nutty Dim policies and incompetence on the part of our leaders. Some of the supply chain issues are from nutty policies on the part of other governments, too, including the CCP’s Zero Covid Policy.

Time will tell on your #6. I’m betting it does not turn into into a major epidemic requiring lockdowns, etc. My #6 is dodgy elections with rampant cheating unless we get busy and insist on proper electoral procedures.

The left has bombarded us with crazy. Climate change, Covid, TDS (including their whacky Trump-Russia-Russia-Russia), racism-racism-racism, transgender craziness, everything is the fault of evil racist conservatives, cancel culture, drag queen story hour, and on and on and on. They have their own gloom and doom conspiracy theories and apocalyptic predictions.

It’s understandable that conservatives, in reaction, come up with our own (Q nonsense, snake venom in the water, everything but the kitchen sink in the vaccines, bioweapons everywhere, everything that happens is a false flag involving crisis actors, China will invade the US mainland by hiding soldiers in containers on ships, etc.).

Those in power have lied to us. About the origin of Covid. About immigration. About climate change (none of their predictions have come true so far, nor did the older scare stories about the population bomb, global cooling, hole in the ozone, etc.). About election integrity. About the Steele dossier. Their Covid policies often made no sense or were counterproductive. They even admitted to lying about masks. They see a white supremacist behind every rock and tree. They lied about Libya and lots of other things, too.

No wonder we’ve lost trust in government, our institutions, and our media.

But we really need to keep our heads about us and concentrate on the real issues and problems we face. Like inflation, skyrocketing debt, energy independence, supply chain issues, devaluation of the dollar and the real consequences of the dollar beginning to lose its place as the world currency and “petrodollar” because of the sanctions on Russia, etc. Our idiotic preoccupation with picking fights with Russia when China is the real threat. Our thoroughly broken mental health system. Our failed educational system. The looming shortage of nursing home beds and home health caregivers as the childless Boomers age. I could go on and on.

Homelessness, drug addiction, rising crime. Fixing our broken mental health system would alleviate a good portion of the homeless and crime problems and pressure on our overburdened criminal justice system but no one talks about it. Another major problem: dependence on China for essential goods like phamaceuticals, PPE, etc. Thanks to the drawn-out war in Ukraine and sanctions on Russia, there is a real global food supply crisis on top of the high fuel prices.

Monkeypox is one of the least of our worries, in my opinion.

Instead of worrying about relativity difficult to get monkey pox we should be worried about the illegal immigrants carrying highly infectious TB.
