As a culture, as modern life made basics easier, we’ve overindulged the next generations continuing the fantasy world of a childhood long into adulthood. It’s ultimately destructive and invites chaos.
I went on a rant about that on another thread the other day. “Live and let live” is just an excuse that Libertarians and marginal conservatives use to never have to confront societal degeneracy, i.e. sin. Some of it is because of cowardice or laziness, and some of it is because of their own sinful behaviors that they don’t want to address. “Live and let live” is nothing but hedonism.
American-style liberty is NOT a license to behave any way you want. John Adams said it best: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Our nation’s founders knew that unprecedented freedom would just become an excuse to do evil unless the People were morally upright and exercised self-control, driven by an external moral code (given to them by God). The more “live and let live” moral laziness you have, the farther the country sinks into immorality, eventually leading to lost freedoms as government clamps down to try to restore civility. Of course, today government is actually promoting the evil, instead of fighting it, which just accelerates the process of national decline.
We got to this insane point we’re at now not because of the maniacal leftists, but because of the “live and let live” laziness among many marginal conservatives. Evil never sleeps; it just does what it does. Evil only prevails when the good people fail to resist it. As Edmund Burke said (and my tagline): “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
Looking the other way in an attempt to demonstrate how “non judgmental” you are only dooms our culture and our nation.

Their goal is to force people to say lies knowingly, to contradict the direct evidence of their senses, so that truth is destroyed and validity is only which lie is politically useful.
There is no possibility of "reform" until the criminals against humanity are brought to justice.

I haven't encountered any of this stuff at a job, yet, maybe because lately my jobs tend to be low-paying blue collar work.
