Fox News has been on a collision course with its own audience since the stolen 2020 election — and you can almost feel the impact coming. The network has made so many dumb bets lately that it’s like watching a busload of trailer park residents get offloaded to play the nickel slots in Reno. All you can do is shake your head as you think: I know they’re all going bankrupt, and they’re already bankrupt. It’s been perfectly obvious for years now that Rupert Murdoch and his feckless sons turned against President Trump and actually helped Joe Biden — which is not just unforgivable. It’s unsustainable.

Fox is run by liberals now, or at least has more libs at key positions. Only a matter of time before it implodes.
yep, doing their part to make sure it went down the right way. I bet they had concerns there were not enough mules to win so they called it early to discourage those who had not voted yet.

That sure isn’t the case with Tucker Carlson. He’s a lonely voice in the Fox wilderness who is consistently advocating against U.S. involvement in the war in Ukraine. Watch Tucker’s show; he is doing yeoman’s duty swimming against the Ukrainian war advocacy tide.

You do realize you don’t know what the heck you are talking about, don’t you? Ever hear of research or do you always mouth off without knowing anything about the subject you are bad mouthing.

The cable news stations mostly repeat identical fake news narratives - almost word-for-word. Then the newspapers and social media reinforce them. Also the late night talk shows.
But I guess these narratives must be getting generated somewhere - maybe some left wing think tank.

No doubt you have heard on conservative radio one of the hosts playing a montage of dozens of left-wing news media outlets saying the exact same thing using the exact same words. I guess that makes journalism very easy doesn’t it? Just repeat what some lefty tells you to say. 🙄
And the Democrat cult just nods their head in vapid agreement:
I love those montages but I’m shocked at the way the media marches in lockstep. It is frightening when you think about the extent of it - this is absolute proof that it is nothing but pure propaganda.
It is statistically impossible for ten different news outlets to simultaneously choose the same exact phrases, word-for-word. Someone is obviously putting words in their mouths.
So, I turn to my wife in amazement and say “When this gets around, even the low-information Democrat sheeple will have to see that they are being played for fools - they are being read a script.”
She gently reminds me “No, they will never see the montage - they will stick to one channel - CNN or whatever, and never know that dozens of other news readers are reading the same script.”
Of all the serious threats a freedom-loving people can face, this is the most fearsome: that tyrants have entirely co-opted our lines of communication and educational institutions - and the people don’t even know it happened.
This is the main reason why I do not watch network news or read newspapers any more. You simply cannot rely on them for true information. You are being fed a script.

The scary part is that FR is not immune.
You see the same narratives being pushed here, and many FReepers happily pick up the baton and start marching along, because they don’t want to believe Hannity can be bought.
I think people need to think long and hard about how much these “news” hosts are paid. It’s staggering.
And remember, these people are highly paid sales reps. Like any sales rep, they are not being paid to save the world from tyranny. They are being paid to sell a product.
I’m not even condemning them for it. If a company was paying me tens of millions of $$ per year to sell their cars, I would not go around telling people what the disadvantages were or trash talking the industry.
People just need to wake up and realize that every word broadcast over paid-for media is serving some agenda. Nobody is being paid to tell you the truth - if you want to hear the truth, don’t listen to people who are getting paid to talk to you.
I gave up on the MSM when Clinton was president. It was a clown show then and has only gotten worse.
My news source was Rush. Now I listen to his replacements, but a lot of their news stories can be found on conservative websites and those two are very hard to understand because of my hearing loss.
