Yep, it never really went away, as it never does for NeverTrumpers like Levin. In fact, only when his ratings were crashing did he (fake) being a Trump fan.
Now he smells a bit of blood regarding Trump and is pouncing again.

The problem wasn’t who we voted for, but rather who we were ALLOWED to vote for, and that was controlled.
Give me Trump back then in the Primaries, and like most here, I would have voted for him in a heartbeat. But there was no Trump (a self-financing person who was also conservative).

Here’s some examples.
Ben Sasse - first promoted on his program as “He is a SOLID conservative,” }I am an early supporter”, then it was “Ben Sasse has turned out to be a disaster..” “Ben Sasse fooled many conservatives. He’s a gadfly & a flake whose only notoriety is as a Trump-basher. I’ll never forget his call to me insisting I should support the Iran deal & arguing I was too tough on Bob Corker. He’s been utterly ineffective.”
Rick Santorum - another “good friend”, “he is a class act”, he “is a conservative”, Mark chose to endorse Rick when Newt had all the momentum after SC and needed support to stop Romney. Rick dropped out, rain again in 2016, was hired by CNN and was forgotten.
Jeff Sessions - Mark said he was a great pick for AG and for Trump to stop tweet-attacking him.”, “the smears against Jeff Sessions debunked”, “the real Jeff Sessions.” Then Levin got with the program and said exactly what Trump was saying from the start, “Sessions will not reign in the DOJ and must step down.”
Paul Ryan: Another friend of the program that when he gets in power it’s “PAUL RYAN & MITCH MCCONNELL WILL NOT FIGHT FOR THE CONSERVATIVE CAUSE IN CONGRESS”
Kinzinger: “a political fraud who betrayed the Tea Party”
So you can’t just go by “conservative pedigree”.
Josh also lost the Senate race twice before which is very troubling. Levin never brings that up.
It’s not his fault you are obviously uninformed about the Steyn/Levin legal fight in which NeverTrump Mark Levin was the villain.
That’s okay. You “voted your conscience™”

Mark Levin also endorsed Orrin Hatch the last time he ran as well. Hatch turned around and went the opposite direction once he was safely elected. Levin expressed “sincere” regret for endorsing Hatch.
What did Levin say about Mark Steyn?
Vance is a far left San Fran phoney.
No one on FR has done as much for conservatism as Mark Levin.
Yet you see in this thread a loathing that exceeds if he were the combination of Clinton, Obama and Biden.
It is absolutely ridiculous.
Much of it overlaps with a set of individuals who admire Putin’s military campaign in Ukraine.
Still can’t watch him anymore.
The Lincoln idolatry speaks volumes.
Vote for Mike Gibbons, not J.D. “Trump May Be Hitler” Vance or Josh the Philanderer.
