i hadnt heard of those ..will have to investigate.

Look at the bottom of you well worn shoes to see your walking pattern and where you have issues. the podiatrist had me buy some expensive inserts. I wear them in house shoes

those inserts you buy after standing on that machine at walmart etc also seemed to help my knees.

I have two pairs of arch supports that I bought 15 over so years ago that I always wear in my shoes. They are bendable, but rather hard, so they actually do support. I had arch problems for a few years that led to heel spurs. After wearing the arch supports for a while, they gradually healed.

My interest in the OOFOs is that they claim that walking in them helps with back and joint pain. I tried on a pair once, and I do not believe I would need my arch supports as the arches in OOFOs are quite pronounced. At the time, I could not decide if I wanted to spend so much on a pair of shoes that would probably wear out quickly.
