Billionaire Elon Musk would cut the salaries of Twitter's board of directors to zero if his ongoing attempt to purchase the company succeeds, Musk announced Monday.

Musk offered to purchase Twitter and take it private for $54.20 last week, and Twitter's board is working to fight off the buyout. Board members currently make between $200,000 and $300,000 salaries, equating to an annual cost of roughly $3 million for the company.

"Board salary will be $0 if my bid succeeds, so that’s ~$3M/year saved right there," Musk tweeted.

Elon knows that there are no real board members working to lead the company towards a bright(er) future.

The board members that exist, are there for one purpose only, and that is to advance the progressive agenda. The board members are working for the democrat party. Any interference with their work, will be dealt with as a threat to the power of the democrat party. Which is exactly how the left has reacted to the offer for purchase by Musk. They call it a 'threat to democracy' if Musk buys the company, but in reality, it's a threat to the democrats' power over social media.

My local Walmart has reinstated greeters.

My local Walmart has hired off-duty Sheriff's Department armed guards.

It is across the street from about 30 low-rent apartment complexes. 100% black and muzz.

My somewhat further out Walmart is in a neighborhood of single family homes, mostly Hispanic.

No armed guards to be found.

Quite simple, actually.
